We had a great experience with Chef’s Catering. We worked with Jodi in developing our menu and for our tasting, which we were very pleased with. The appetizers we selected with them were filling and well done.
Unfortunately Jodi left the team during our planning process, and we were shifted over to Nick. We didn’t have a ton Of interaction with Nick, but I do believe Jodi did such a good job planning that there were very few questions left.
At the time of the wedding, I feel everything was very well executed. Our planner had requested that our servers pass a few of our appetizers and bartenders serve the initial round of drinks from a tray. They did this seamlessly and It made the reception feel a bit more elevated. The servers were also attentive to me, the bride, throughout the reception, as they must have noticed I didn’t have time to prepare a plate. I noticed that tables were cleared quickly and I’m told the food stations looked beautiful. All in all, it was a great experience!

Two month after our event and we are still receiving compliments on the food from our wedding reception.

If you are looking for a company who goes above and beyond all expectations, hire Chef's Catering. We hired them for our wedding and were blown away. So I can imagine the experience is no less for any event. Planning a wedding or any event can be stressful. So communication with your vendors is of the utmost importance. Chef's Catering provided that. How can you not feel taken care of? The impeccable execution on our wedding day was not surprising. And the food was AMAZING! I still have people bring up the food when we reminisce about our wedding.......6+ plus months later!!!! It was delicious!

We coordinated a bridal shower for NC all the way from NY and the service was excellent. Set up was great and on time. I would highly recommend Chef's Catering for any and all catering services.

I was very pleased by the customer service and overall professionalism. Dawn listened to my needs and really delivered. She far exceeded my expectations. It was great to know that she had everything under control so that I could focus on my guests. Will definitely be using her for all of my events in the future.

The food is good but they charged afterwards.

Only 1 complaint - ran out of utensils, and the number of guests was probably less than what had been projected, certainly not more. Otherwise, everyone raved about the food, the service was good, and all had a good time. Running out of utensils impacted the serving of dessert more than anything.

First let me say that the food here is amazing and well worth the money if food is a top priority for you. I have a problem with vendors who claim to be all-inclusive on all of their materials and communications to you and then you find all these hidden fees have been charged to you so that your per person price is about 50% more than the price listed on their menus. There were items included in our tasting that were represented to be part of our package and I found out a week before the wedding that they weren't included. This was a huge source of stress for me but after a call with Chef's catering they made it right. I just wish that it had been that way from the start. Again, the food is amazing. Just make sure you read the fine print on your quote and don't rely on any of their other materials. Also make sure you ask about all the fees that will be charged to you and not disclosed during your tasting or contract negotiations.

The food served at the tasting was WONDERFUL! We knew it would be a big hit! However, there are some things that Chef's Catering lacks- our sales rep, Lea, was new and not the most competent at putting together our package (it took four tries to get the menu right- my husband had to call Lea and work with her line by line!). The only reason we stayed with them was because we met Nick, who was going to be in charge of us after the contract signing and on the day of our wedding, was very competent and comforting to work with. However, Nick failed to show up on the day of the wedding, and when Chef's Catering was an hour and a half late, one of my bridesmaids called to see where they were, and was rudely told that 'They would be there at 4pm (instead of 2pm), and that they would have plenty of time to get ready.' When they arrived, they did not have the one alcohol choice that we requested. The food was COLD! they didn't even use the Sternos that they had brought! My family and friends have negative comments about the food even two weeks later! Also, we had purchased a package price of the beer, and were to keep it after the event; they took it all away, and were seen dividing it up among the servers just down the street of the wedding (IN SIGHT!) and also some of my family saw them drinking the beer!
By far, Chef's Catering was the worst experience of our wedding, and i implore you NOT to use them!
