Wedding Photography in North Carolina

Charity will become and step into whatever role you need her play on your wedding day and throughout the entire process. I needed her to be a motherly/big sister type of photographer and she stepped in, guiding me through the process but with a soft and encouraging hand. She continually was kind to me and patient. Although our wedding day was small, she made it feel HUGE. She made such a big, beautiful deal out of the little things. She made me feel important and taken care of. At no point did I worry if something would be captured. Thank you Charity for being so helpful and supportive during that special season of our lives❤️

Wioletta arrived on time ready to capture our special day. She was very professional and creative as that’s what we wanted. We were a bit disorganized but she was very patient and polite. We are excited to see our pictures. 10/10 would book again. ❤️

Katie continues to be our family's photographer of choice. She went above and beyond when we got married and asked her to travel to NYC for the weekend. She brought a sense of comfort and fun to the entire experience. Everyone was at ease with Katie there and her ability to create an instant bond with our videographer (who she met that day) made it that much clearer that she was the perfect fit. We continue to use Katie every time we're in OBX and love that she got to be part of our special day in NY.

Working with Lee was an absolute dream! He and his team were extremely personable, charismatic, and down to earth. It’s amazing how much stress it takes off of you while planning to have someone you can talk to like a close friend, and how much stress it takes off of you on the day of your wedding to pose for people who can keep your confidence & energy high. Lee has an eye for detail, a passion for understanding people’s aesthetic vision, and a LOT of heart.  The pictures my husband & I have to look back on the most special day of our lives are not just portraits, or photos to check off of a shot list, they capture every ounce of emotion that was felt throughout the day. It’s as if the camera was looking on at us with the same love in its eyes that we have for each other. I couldn’t recommend his team more for the couples who have always been a little different, and who want their wedding pictures to evoke emotion & feel unique to their energies.

We had a large wedding party—with young children and even our dogs—and Matt handled it all with ease. He made everyone feel right at home while maintaining complete professionalism throughout the day. As my wedding season comes to a close, I wanted to write a review for my amazing photographer. She was early, communicative, professional, kind and her photos came out INCREDIBLE!! Everyone in my family was raving about her and we will definitely keep her in mind for future pictures and events.

Jeff at J.Darren Photography captured our wedding day beautifully. We had a non-traditional venue and event flow, but Jeff understood the vision right away and was able to jump in and capture every little moment of the wedding. His use of light and ability to capture people’s personalities is fantastic. When we look back at the photos of our wedding we feel like we’re right back in the moment.
