Hello!

I'm Lacy Patton (formerly Matusek,) a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Raleigh, North Carolina (but I will never say no to a road trip!) I grew up in Georgia and moved to Boone, North Carolina to spend 4 years in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while getting my Commercial Photography Degree. I love to photograph weddings as well as family sessions, senior portraits, boudoir, or any other special moments you'd like to capture!

I have never met a dog that I didn't love, but I'm pretty sure my black lab rescue pup, Sadie, is the cutest one I've ever met. There is nothing better than cuddling up with a dog and a blanket to binge-watch some Netflix while editing photos (Grey's Anatomy is my current favorite.)

I'm pretty sure that I have cried at every single wedding I've ever been to and I am so thankful that I get to be part of so many special days. I love weddings for many reasons, but my favorite part is the raw emotion. I love to capture the love and excitement between the bride and groom right after the ceremony when all of the stress has melted away and they get to relax and enjoy each other as newlyweds.

The best part of my job is truly connecting with each and every bride and groom to make sure their day is as stress-free as possible. I aspire to be more than just a vendor on your big day, and the best feeling is making lasting relationships from every wedding.
