We have known Jobey for a long time now - he photographed our initial proposal a few years ago, and we instantly connected with him. We are usually so awkward in front of the camera, but with Jobey, we felt so relaxed and like we could just be ourselves around him. He ended up doing such an astounding and beautiful job, we had to hire him for the wedding too!

Jobey knows that photos and posing aren’t for everyone, so he adds his own sense of humor and personality to make everyone feel included and happy to be there! We don’t know how he does it, but he always makes us feel and look like celebrities without even trying! All of his directions felt natural, and his support and compliments led to capturing the most beaming smiles either of us have ever made on camera!

One of our favorite things about Jobey and his photography style and his ability to capture us in moments where we are at our best and just having fun. It never feels forced, so he is able to capture all the emotions we are feeling at the time. Whether it is joy, tears, or just plain relief, it all translates so well into his photography. The editing is also exactly what we were looking for, with almost a dreamy glow to each photo. The composition and color balance are always perfect and draws your eyes to exactly the right place.

Jobey was by far our favorite wedding vendor. He was such a bubbly energy to have doing our portraits for the engagement shoot and on our big day. Even with his exuberant personality, he made himself unseen while he captured amazing candids. Based on the photos, it was as if he were everywhere all at once. It was amazing to relive moments we experienced and also see moments that we missed (but Jobey did not!). His intelligence and artistic eye is a rarity and is exemplified in the final product. For what it’s worth he did not mention reviews at all - we just felt compelled by gratitude for his dedication and desire for other couples to experience having him as a photographer so I assume the other reviewers feel the same!

Jobey is the BEST! He is so professional and creative! He is so funny and kind, so he's so easy to feel comfortable with! My husband and I never take photos, but we felt so natural with him. We had the opportunity to work with Jobey several times. He first photographed our engagement photos and both of our weddings (one was a traditional Vietnamese wedding and the other was an American style wedding). Our favorite thing about Jobey is just how easy it was to work with him. He was responsive and kind before we even met for photos. We felt so comfortable with him during our engagement photoshoot. We don't have a lot of photos together as a couple, but he made it feel so natural. We were worried about the rain but he actually used photographing in the drizzle and fog to his advantage and the photos came out awesome! During our actual wedding, he went above and beyond and stepped in to fill any tiny role we needed him for. He was nice enough to fan me off when I got hot and held extra bobby pins for the bridesmaids. He was flexible and open to all of our wishes while also giving us helpful advice for the big day. We were so happy we decided to go with Jobey and would recommend him to any couple!
