Wedding Photography in Massachusetts

We were nervous about hiring photographers since my husband and I are both pretty shy, but Lumière Photography put us at ease right away. Mari and Cris worked together seamlessly and guided us through poses and ideas without making us feel awkward or rushed. They listened to what we wanted and delivered photos that captured our vision perfectly. Their attention to detail really shows in every shot, and we couldn't be happier with our sneak peek. From start to finish, they communicated clearly and handled everything with such care. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for photographers who truly understand their clients!

Working with Ryan was great. Once we started the process he set up a clear timeline for communication and never left us waiting - whether it was for a follow-up email or finally delivering the photos two weeks ahead of schedule! He was able to capture the essence of our special day in a remarkable way and we're still enjoying those photos four years later (and why I was happy to copy and paste this review for them, I just don't hit four buttons for anyone, lol).

When I was planning my wedding, my best friend shared one of her biggest regrets from her own big day: her photographer. Her photos were… fine. The same cookie-cutter images — walking down the aisle, cutting the cake, standard family and bridal party groupings. "My wedding photos look like everyone else’s. I wish I had chosen someone who would capture the candid moments I didn’t get to fully appreciate because everything was such a blur." We took that advice to heart when choosing our photographer. And when we found Joe and Katye, we knew we’d found our people. They are everything you hope for in wedding vendors — warm, professional, flexible, reliable, and patient. On the big day, we loved watching how they put everyone — from our anxious 2-year-old flower girl to my equally anxious 88-year-old grandmother (who was officiating!) — completely at ease. And then their photojournalist alter-egos kicked in. We got so many comments from guests amazed by their ability to be everywhere and nowhere at once — up on tables above the dance floor, shooting through windows — they even captured an incredible photo of my husband and me through a Christmas tree, giving the image this magical fairy light effect. Their energy and creativity are simply unmatched. I cried the first time I saw our photos. Joe and Katye did the impossible — they captured all the joy, love and magic from that day in a way that feels exactly like us. I got everything I hoped for: an embarrassment of riches of photos where I look like a movie star, and a collection that feels totally unique to our day and our story. We truly can’t wait to work with them again for future milestones. If you’re lucky enough to book them — do it. You won’t regret it.

Sue was incredible. We had a long day with a fairly complicated schedule and several locations, but Sue did a great job communicating and clearly understanding our logistics while providing helpful suggestions throughout the process. She was early to show up on our wedding day and helped us get everything we wanted out of our day both in terms of photography and beyond. We actually found Sue at the recommendation of a close friend whose wedding we attended. Their photos also came out excellent, for the record. Sue's photos for our wedding day were perfect. She helped us feel comfortable during posed shots as well as did a fantastic job getting candid shots of us and our guests that were truly delightful. She also did a great job capturing the venues and decor, various little memories throughout the day. When reviewing the photos she had taken of us, we constantly were saying "oh that's a great shot" and we were amazed at her ability to seemingly be everywhere at once (without us noticing!) to be able to achieve the shots she took. Sue contributed more than just her photography skills. Her process helped us plan for what to expect for our day, what we might want to consider or reconsider, and she helped corral people for posed photos despite tight time constraints the day of our wedding. She was polite, fun, and energetic as well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend hiring Sue to anyone. She's amazing.

We feel so lucky to have found Geneve to photograph our covid micro-wedding. She was laid-back and communicative, rolling with some of the inevitable disorganization of having a wedding in your backyard. She got some beautiful shots of the day's most important moments, including candids and portraits. Geneve provided exactly what we asked for and was a pleasure to work with!

Heather and her assistant were amazing! They were professional and fun to work with! Heather was very easy to communicate with, she always answered all my questions in a timely manner and clearly. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Roland was our photographer and the dude was stellar. He even stayed for an extra hour after his contracted time. His flexibility was very appreciated. The pictures came out fantastic and they were easily accessed by everyone that got the link to the pictures (and getting the link only took 2 days). Overall, I'm wicked impressed. Highly recommend.

I am so, so grateful that I chose MVP for my wedding day. I love literally hundreds of the photos I received. Jen did an amazing job. She made us feel so comfortable and captured every moment expertly. I did not expect to receive SO MANY photos that I adore! The videos they provided left us all in tears. They were above and beyond what we expected. We were stunned at the editing. Jason is a true professional. You can tell MVP puts their heart and souls into their work. I will cherish the videos and photos forever. To have so many beautiful videos and photos of my loved ones and that beautiful day is just beyond incredible.

Ashley and her team were incredible! So professional, responsive and they all made the day so much fun! The pictures came out amazing and I'm so excited about them! Everyone getting married should have them as part of their day! They didn't miss a single moment - captured everything we wanted!!

The photos Simi took for our wedding are unbelievably gorgeous -- and working with him was fun, easy, and affordable. We first met him on our engagement shoot, which was included as a part of his wedding package. We're not always the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Simi made us both feel comfortable throughout. He spent a lot of time with us and the photos he took during that shoot were the best photos of us we'd ever seen... until we got the photos back from the wedding, that is. He was the only photographer for our wedding (no team), so we were honestly shocked by the number of different angles and moments he was able to capture. We were delighted to see so many beautiful moments we didn't get to experience firsthand as the couple -- seeing friends and family connecting, hugging, laughing and tearing up the dance floor. Multiple family members also said they were surprised by all the photos, because they barely noticed him taking them. We had an extremely tight timeframe for friends and family portraits, as well as our own portraits -- but Simi made it work and somehow everyone came out looking great. And the photos that Simi took of the two of us are the best photos of us that we've ever seen. Some of them are really art. We got our wedding photos back right as we were spending time with our families over Thanksgiving, so we spent the weekend reliving our wedding day with our parents. Looking the photos, it feels like he captured not only our wedding, but us too. As you can tell, we can't recommend him enough!
