Hi! We’re Connie and Ben, the creative duo behind Silver + Salt Photography, based in Boston. We specialize in documenting humans who are unapologetically themselves. Introverted, extroverted, and whether you’re a data-crunching scientist, a festival-loving Burner, or a rock-climbing Trekkie, our goal is the same: to preserve the fellingtone of you wedding day.
We believe your wedding shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot. Our documentary-style approach means you can stay fully present while we capture the momoents as they unfol—no "performance" required. From New England elopements to global celebrations, we offer everything from digital galleries to handcrafted heirloom albums.

Ben is a dream!
We loved our experience with Ben / Silver and Salt! He completely got our vibe and the kind of style that would suit us best. He's such a delight to work with and be around. Our photos are so precious to us as we got the most gorgeous portraits as well as hundreds of special moments captured perfectly. Whenever we look at the photos, we get to relive the best day over again! So thankful to Ben and his gift for photography!

Dream photographer
Ben truly was the most perfect photographer. The photos are gorgeous and capture the energy and vibe of the day so perfectly. He also recommended additional vendors (DJ and videographer) who were similarly wonderful. I’ve looked through our gallery so many times now and I keep being stunned that these are photos of my wedding. If you want timeless, artistic, gorgeous photos and a truly wonderful photographer then Ben is the perfect choice.

Ben is amazing!!!
BREATHTAKING!!! Ben captured our wedding weekend in a way that we couldn't even dream of. We chose him because we wanted a photographer who would capture the weekend as it was, not a posed form, and that is exactly what Ben did. Every photo tells the story of our wedding. The raw emotion and the pure joy. On top of that Ben was our favorite vendor to work with. He was professional while also being fun. Family members who have had their own weddings even said he was the best photographer to work with!!! If you're looking for a photographer it's time to stop, because you've found him!!! Thank you Ben!!!

Incredible photos + the kindest photographer
Ben was the best person we could have imagined to capture our wedding day. He perfectly understood and accomplished our vision of documenting the day as organically as possible, and he made us feel comfortable and natural the whole time. The photographs are more beautiful than we ever hoped - a perfect snapshot of the day that we'll treasure forever. Not only that, but Ben was kind, fun, and professional. He put everyone at ease and treated all our family and guests with respect and warmth. We could not recommend Silver and Salt more!

Better than We Could Have Imagined
We cannot have imagined our wedding without Ben as our photographer. If you are looking for artful photos that capture your wedding day in its true form and transport you right back to that day whenever you look at them, look no further. Ben is an absolute master at his craft!
As someone who is camera shy, I was nervous about how our photos would turn out and about having a professional photographer at all. I really just wanted a collection of photos that captured the real, candid moments of the day. Ben accomplished this better than I could have ever imagined. Not to mention that he was such a joy to work with from the first day we met, making us feel comfortable and heard. He worked his magic in the background and delivered the most breathtaking photos of our day.

Ben is fantastic!
We loved working with Ben. He was calm and professional right from the start. He told us what to expect on the day, and the services he offered during our first call. Ben felt like another friend at our wedding. He is so kind. His pictures are stunning and unique. He was able to capture so many special moments in a beautiful, artistic and natural manner. Nothing (apart from the formal portraits) felt staged. He captured our event with beauty and elegance. He was so lovely to work with!

Hire Ben!!
We were so happy with Ben as our wedding photographer! Our photos are so full of life. It is almost like seeing movie stills from our wedding day. They are so authentic. They perfectly capture all the joy, laughter, and happy tears from our wedding. The colors are crisp and vibrant. Ben’s artistic eye also captured some perspectives that look like paintings. He is truly such a talented artist. Ben also has an incredibly comforting presence. He feels like an old friend. We so enjoyed spending our wedding day with him and so did our bridal party. He was somehow everywhere and nowhere throughout the day - he was capturing so many different moments yet never intruded on any of them. We don’t know how he was able to get so many angles of our ceremony and reception. He also was great at directing our formal portraits and helped us corral large groups of family seamlessly. If he is available on your wedding date, book him now!

We ❤️ Ben!!
Ben is an amazing photographer and person! From the very first meeting with him, he made us feel so comfortable, was so friendly and fun to work with, and his work speaks for itself. He was exceptionally professional, clearly communicative, and flexible. He captured our wedding day so magically, not only producing gorgeous and creative photos, but being a lovely presence to have during your wedding day which is so important!! I cannot recommend him enough!
