There also happened to be many mirrors at our venue, and Ben used that to his advantage to capture many unique photos -both while getting ready and waiting for the ceremony to begin. We chose Ben/Silver and Salt Photography because we were looking for a professional who could really capture the energy, moments, and reality of our day together. We hit the jackpot on this one. We absolutely love our pictures. Ben truly did a wonderful job capturing what will be one of the first memories we’ll have as a married couple. After getting the family/couple portraits we wanted, we were given such freedom to be ourselves without worrying about a camera. We don’t know our angles and knew that posing for pictures would eat into our time enjoying our guests (and add a bit of stress). With Ben as our photographer, we really got to maximize our time with our guests and even were able to actually be present during our cocktail hour with everybody! It was so great. Even without posed pictures we got a bunch of amazing photos - primarily moments - that we’ll be able to look back at very fondly.

Our guests have all commented on how awesome the photographs are. We would highly recommend Ben on your big day. Photography was one of our top priorities for our wedding day. We specifically sought out a photojournalistic style. After looking at so many portfolios we both agreed Ben was our guy.
