This venue was absolutely amazing. The views and atmosphere were breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice. The staff were extremely professional, caring, and kind. They treated us like family. The quality of service was exceptional. Anything we needed, they prioritized immediately. Last, but not least, our wedding planner was the best. Marta went above and beyond to make sure we (bride & groom) were comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free. Worth every penny. We will cherish the memory of this venue and hotel with us always, as will our guests. They loved it and couldn’t have been more satisfied!!!

Our experience with Castello del Trebbio for our destination wedding was nothing short of exceptional. Alberto the manager was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he made the daunting task of planning an international wedding for 40 guests with all the bells and whistles achievable and as pain-free as possible. He helped us every step of the way, down to the tiniest of details. His work ethic is impeccable, because he truly loves what he does. We have the upmost respect for him. All of the preferred vendors are also wonderful, professional people that helped make our day special. The castle, apartments, and vineyard grounds are gorgeous from every angle. This place feels like a dream. The restaurant, food and wine were perfection, and they were amazing with accommodating a number of different allergies for my guests. The restaurant manager Giuliana was so warm and welcoming, and took care of our guests so well! Despite the year of planning and the months after our wedding day, we are still in disbelief of how perfect everything was. It was truly magical. The memories made there by us, our friends and family will likely be talked about for the rest our our lives. We look forward to the day we can revisit, walk the grounds, and have an anniversary dinner at the restaurant.

We had our wedding here in May 2025 and we cannot imagine a more picturesque or cozy place to have our celebration than Borgo di Pietrafitta. Ekaterina and Sonia are two of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet. So kind and patient and knowledgeable. All of the staff at the Borgo are kind and helpful. Pietrafitta is a place we cannot wait to visit again and again. The property is gorgeous, tucked in the hills with lush surrounding hills and lots of beautiful trees. There are also so many options for each of the events or "moments" of the wedding day. We had our pick of places where we wanted to have our ceremony, aperitivo, and reception. Also, having an on-site rain plan that did not involve dishing out several thousand euro for a tent was important to us. We had fewer than 50 guests so we could fit in the on-site church or in the wine cellar for dinner if we had wet weather. All our guests loved staying on property from the pool to the ping-pong table to the ample space around the property for wandering and walks. The apartments are cozy and comfortable and the rooms in the main villa feel like elite level hotel rooms. The breakfast spread includes a wide variety of options, including options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free. I also highly recommend booking wine and olive oil tasting! We loved the cats wandering the property and the wildlife like deer, owls, and cuckoo birds we could hear. The general calming ambiance of the nature around the property made for such a lovely stay. We already want to visit again soon!

We got married in September last year and chose Castello Bevilacqua as our wedding venue, a choice we would make a thousand times over. Ours was a half Italian, half English wedding, so it was essential for us to find not only a beautiful venue but also people who could make both of us feel understood and supported in our own languages. From our very first visit, Castello Bevilacqua gave us exactly that reassurance. Andrea was able to communicate perfectly with me in Italian and with my husband Dan in English, making us both feel relaxed, confident, and well looked after at every stage. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. The castle is stunning inside and out, with every single detail meticulously cared for. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and extremely well maintained; the gardens and trees are treated during summer to prevent mosquitoes, which made a huge difference. Inside, everything was spotless, elegant, and perfectly organised. It truly feels like a fairytale location. However, beyond the beauty of the venue, what really made us choose Castello Bevilacqua was the exceptional level of service. Andrea and his family were absolutely outstanding. Andrea provides the best customer service we have ever experienced, professional, kind, attentive, and always present. This wasn’t just something we noticed; all of our guests commented on it as well on the wedding day. Our journey started around 10 months before the wedding, and throughout that entire time Andrea was flawless: 10/10 communication, 10/10 availability, always ready to answer our countless questions. Even during the busiest part of the wedding season, he would still reply to messages in the evening, which made us feel constantly supported. The wedding packages were also very competitive compared to other venues we visited in North-East Italy. The wedding day itself was perfect. Andrea was present from morning until late evening, along with his family, always on hand to help with anything we needed. The entire staff was extremely professional, especially important with so many international guests, and they truly delivered the Italian dream experience. The food was outstanding. Absolutely incredible. As bride and groom, our only regret is that we didn’t manage to eat as much as we would have liked, but all of our guests went back for seconds and continued talking about the food for months after the wedding. It exceeded the expectations of both our English and Italian guests. The wine and drinks flowed all day, and the evening cocktail package was fantastic. The cocktails were delicious, freshly made by a very skilled and accommodating bartender. Andrea coordinated all other suppliers as well. Overall, everything was simply perfect. Castello Bevilacqua is not just a stunning venue, but a place where you feel genuinely welcomed, supported, and looked after. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone dreaming of an unforgettable wedding

Borgo Bucciano is simply amazing, I cannot recommend it enough, it’s a wonderful, scenic and peaceful venue, so full of history and the kind and considerate owners go out of their way to make your stay magical. We had our wedding there in July 2017 and what can I say….everything was perfect from start to finish. We were first introduced to the venue by email from our wedding planner as we were planning from Ireland – we immediately fell in love. We had no hesitation booking it even before our first visit! The reasons are many….we loved the location: stunning Tuscan countryside (the views from the pool and the balcony of the wedding villa (amazing!), close to a number of airports for our guests travelling, great accommodation on site and in the locality and a very responsive service by email from Silvia and Alessia answering all our questions. We visited finally in May before our wedding and we were welcomed so warmly and with beautiful red wine from the Bucciano wineyard – this became our wine for our wedding. I would highly recommend it (we also brought some bottles home!). The wedding itself was fantastic. We had a fabulous reception of aperitif set out by the pool (you can choose to have it in the garden too but the pool area was perfect for us with the views over the olive groves and Tuscan countryside). Our hosts Alessia and Silvia were amazing for the duration of our stay and that of our guests, nothing was a problem, they looked after every little detail, from small lunch requests to making sure that there was an out -of-hours bar service available. Oh I did not mention the Piazetta! The beautiful outdoors area just outside the breakfast/dining area! Borgo Bucciano made our wedding day and the days before and after so special, this place and the surroundings will always have a special place in our hearts – thank you Borgo Bucciano!

tl;dr: The staff at Castelbrando are very experienced and easy to work with. They definitely went above and beyond to make our destination wedding so, so special. Castelbrando was the only venue that my now-husband and I visited - it was suggested by his family who live locally in Italy (we are currently located in California). Then the pandemic hit and we simply didn't have an opportunity to see other venues... That being said, we couldn't be happier with our decision! Location: Location was slightly tricky since Castelbrando isn't located in a major city. There's a train station nearby, but you would still need a ride from there to and from the castle. Everyone was able to arrive and leave here no problem though. Pre-wedding planner: Before finding a planner, we were able to make the arrangements with Brunella in Banquets. We chose on-site locations for the ceremony, aperitifs/cocktail hour, reception, and after party. Most of our contact was via email, which was preferable due to the time difference. She mentioned the hotel has wedding planners to recommend since we didn't have any, but we decided to find one on our own - she (the planner) then took over most of the contact with Brunella and Castelbrando via email and phone. Wedding suite: We booked Alcova del Conte for a few days, which was an amazing suite if it's an option for you. It was so gorgeous and spacious with lots of nooks/private areas, a separate closet (perfect for hiding my wedding gown from the groom), a split bathroom, and more, all of which made is perfect for a bunch of bridesmaids to get ready on the day of the wedding. Ceremony, San Martino church: A deconsecrated Roman Catholic church which was somewhat small, but still beautiful and perfect for our non-religious ceremony. As the bride, I waited in the lounge (near Reception) until it was time, then walked up the central stairway to enter the church. There weren't quite enough seats for everyone inside the church, but there was a side room that we decided not to use, and the unseated guests had plenty of space to stand at the back. Aperitifs / cocktail hour, courtyard: After the ceremony was cocktail hour in the courtyard right outside the church. Lots of beautiful views surrounding the castle. There were plenty of tables and chairs around, and the setup for the musicians, the bar, and all the food was perfect with the food spread out across different tables so there was never a long wait. Villa Lario is an incredible venue for a wedding, party or even just a special getaway. For me and my husband it was exactly what we were looking for when planning our wedding. The grounds are beautiful—right on the shores of Lake Como with its own boat dock—with many spaces to host in (like the caves!) and a pool, perfect for varied events. And unlike many villa properties around, you can actually stay in their incredibly luxurious accommodations. The management and staff are extremely professional, but what makes them exceptional is that they truly put their heart into everything they do, and it shows. At no point during our planning process did we feel like "just another wedding"—they were kind to accommodate our needs while always providing guidance with regards to their restrictions and policies with a smile and personal touch. While staying there for 4 days over our wedding weekend, we were well cared for by their attentive staff. One of the biggest features of Villa Lario that I cannot overstate is their dedication to incredible food! We knew having a wedding in Italy would assure us a high standard of food regardless of where we went, but Villa Lario took it to another level. Our guests could not stop raving about the food (and still remind us to this day!) and their bartenders are incredibly professional. I would highly recommend them for any event!

Imma was very professional and flexible. We were provided with everything we asked for and could enjoy our wedding without worrying about small details. However the one thing I would mention was the speed with which dinner was served. Many of our guests didn’t enjoy all the food, because it was taken away as soon as someone would leave their place. Even if it was for a few minutes to say a toast or speak to someone from another table. Except for this, all the other things were great and beautiful.
