Borgo Bucciano is simply amazing, I cannot recommend it enough, it’s a wonderful, scenic and peaceful venue, so full of history and the kind and considerate owners go out of their way to make your stay magical. We had our wedding there in July 2017 and what can I say….everything was perfect from start to finish. We were first introduced to the venue by email from our wedding planner as we were planning from Ireland – we immediately fell in love. We had no hesitation booking it even before our first visit! The reasons are many….we loved the location: stunning Tuscan countryside (the views from the pool and the balcony of the wedding villa (amazing!), close to a number of airports for our guests travelling, great accommodation on site and in the locality and a very responsive service by email from Silvia and Alessia answering all our questions. We visited finally in May before our wedding and we were welcomed so warmly and with beautiful red wine from the Bucciano wineyard – this became our wine for our wedding. I would highly recommend it (we also brought some bottles home!). The wedding itself was fantastic. We had a fabulous reception of aperitif set out by the pool (you can choose to have it in the garden too but the pool area was perfect for us with the views over the olive groves and Tuscan countryside). Our hosts Alessia and Silvia were amazing for the duration of our stay and that of our guests, nothing was a problem, they looked after every little detail, from small lunch requests to making sure that there was an out -of-hours bar service available. Oh I did not mention the Piazetta! The beautiful outdoors area just outside the breakfast/dining area! Borgo Bucciano made our wedding day and the days before and after so special, this place and the surroundings will always have a special place in our hearts – thank you Borgo Bucciano!

We chose this venue as it is quiet and private, with stunning views of Tuscan countryside. Most of the guests stayed on site and enjoyed the pool and evening bar (and evening dinner if pre-booked). With the garden and chapel, villa, courtyard, poolside and cellar to choose from you can select different areas for each part of the wedding - our hosts Silvia and Alessia were very flexible and helpful with the ceremony and the holiday in general. As we had a small group the catering was in-house and we felt like we were at a real Italian wedding with five courses of lovely food! Our vegetarian and gluten-free requirements were met superbly and we had the opportunity to pre-order drinks to make sure our favourites were available on site.

To keep costs manageable we used downloaded playlists and portable speakers for the music, and Silvia kindly took delivery of our dried flower table arrangements and bouquets sent from the UK.

A lovely venue for a relaxed wedding to create lots of happy memories.

We got married in July 2016 and we highly recommend Borgo Bucciano and Silvia and Alessia (the on-site coordinators there) to everybody. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue, about them and how amazing our wedding was. We planned our wedding in a very busy time of our life (we already have a wonderful baby boy and we both work full time), so it was very important that we had someone to help us. I imagined ourselves and especially myself very anxious and concerned about all the things I could not handle directly, but the team there was simply amazing. We worked on an agreement for every service and the wedding was ready before we expected. Such a relief! Borgo Bucciano is a refined wedding location in the heart of Tuscany and the venue has two souls: the Renaissance Reception Villa and the Farmhouse to house the wedding guests. They also have a spectacular swimming pool overlooking the valley: a corner of paradise, really! We had a reception with 90 guests and we accommodated at the farmhouse 46 guests, while the others stayed in nice places nearby. All of our guests were pampered by the services provided by Borgo Bucciano and all of them had relaxation and privacy. The ceremony in the Giardino all’Italiana in front of the Chapel was extra romantic and all of the other services managed by Silvia and Alessia were beyond our expectations! All our guests are still calling us to say how delicious the dinner was, how elegant the flowers were, how perfect the music was and mostly how gorgeous Borgo Bucciano is. We encourage any couple looking for a venue in Tuscany to look no further than Borgo Bucciano. You won’t be disappointed!
