Castello del Trebbio

Castello del Trebbio was an absolutely amazing place to get married. Albi - who you will come to know very well if you pick this spectacular venue - is fantastic. Our guests absolutely adored him, his stories, and the history and knowledge he shared. As a "coordinator," Albi is so helpful and responsive. We asked him so many stupid questions, and he responded quickly, kindly, and with enthusiasm. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is great at his job and an utter joy to be around!

As for the venue itself - pictures do not do justice in describing how beautiful the venue is. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and the dream-like backdrop of the Tuscan hills was the primary reason for those compliments.

The food was exquisite. We booked the venue without having tried the food, and were delighted by how good it was. Every meal was a treat, and captured that traditional Italian style of simplicity, made with the highest quality ingredients, to produce culinary works of art. One of our guests has been to about 75% of the world's 3 Michelin star restaurants, and the food got his emphatic stamp of approval. Even the cafe is great and has a fennel salad that's clean, crisp, and delicious.

The accomodations are so much fun. Our guests really got to know each other, and there were plenty of times we came together as a big group and partied down. We purchased a karaoke machine and had it shipped to Italy and left it at the venue, so please enjoy with our compliments! It's in the room with the ping pong table!

And finally, the cost. Frankly, it's a steal. Friends of ours who are planning to get married have asked what it cost, expecting an Italian wedding in a castle for three nights to have an astronomical price tag. In fact, for all we got - venue, accomodations for 51 guests, food for multiple days, DJ, coordination, etc. - it was STILL significantly less expensive than if we booked a one-night hotel wedding where we're from (albeit, we are from Hawaii, so it's certainly more expensive than average).

We loved this place, and I could not think of a better place to have started our marriage than Castello del Trebbio.

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Castello del Trebbio. We traveled from Texas to have our destination wedding, and choosing Castello del Trebbio was one of the best decisions we made. Alberto made the process of planning a wedding from afar so easy and his response time was always so quick. Also, they have trusted vendors to choose from that made me feel so much more comfortable.

The property is absolutely breathtaking. Pictures online truly do not do it justice! From the vineyards and rolling hills to the castle itself, every part of the venue feels romantic and special. Around the castle, they provide onsite villas that can hold up to 50 guests. This made our wedding weekend feel incredibly intimate and was so memorable for us and our guests. Keep in mind that Faltignano Villa has a slight hill to climb, so I'd recommend keeping your younger guests there. All villas are beautifully updated and include air conditioning!

Our welcome party/dinner included a tour of the castle and cellars. It was exceptional and our guests raved about the food and wine. We had our special ceremony outdoors in the garden followed by an aperitivo with a beautiful charcuterie set up and a stunning long-table dinner next to the most beautiful background.

One of our favorite things about Castello del Trebbio was that it gave us so much more than just a wedding venue. It gave us an entire weekend experience with our guests. We were also able to recommend many activities to our guests like a relaxing day by the pool, hiking, horseback riding, Florence day trip, or an onsite pasta cooking class. Also, to help with expenses, we had our guests pay a reduced rate for their three night stay that worked great!

Planning a wedding in another country can be intimidating, but Alberto helped make our vision come to life. He even offered a free stay before, so we could come view the castle/villas and have a wedding tasting in person. We are so thankful for him and all of the work that went on behind the scenes to make our wedding weekend so special.

Alberto was amazing throughout the entire planning process—always responsive and helpful for any of our requests or needs. Planning from abroad felt much easier thanks to his support.

The food was absolutely incredible and one of my personal highlights of the evening, and the other would be the photographers we chose through Alberto's recommended vendor list, Barbara and Federico. The photos are stunning, and we couldn't be happier.

I truly cannot recommend Castello del Trebbio enough. I had my wedding there, and it was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. The setting is absolutely incredible — our guests were blown away by the property, the views, the food, and the entire experience.

A huge part of what made the wedding so special was Alberto. He was amazing from beginning to end and helped us with virtually every step of planning. I have a very full-time job and absolutely no wedding-planning expertise, so planning a destination wedding in Italy could have been incredibly overwhelming. Alberto made the entire process manageable. He was always helpful, thoughtful, responsive, and willing to share his perspective and recommendations, which ended up being invaluable.

He gave us and our guests the most wonderful tour of the castle and cellars on our first evening, followed by a wine tasting and dinner. He is also genuinely hilarious and has such a great personality that he became one of the highlights of the wedding for our guests. By the end of the weekend, I was wishing I could hire Alberto to plan every major event in my life and give every tour I take.

The wedding itself was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and everything came together wonderfully. Most importantly, our guests had an amazing time and are still talking about how special the venue was.

We are so grateful to Alberto and everyone at Castello del Trebbio for helping us create such an unforgettable wedding. It truly exceeded our expectations, and if you are considering getting married here, I genuinely cannot recommend it enough.

We could not have asked for a better experience at Castello del Trebbio. We are incredibly happy with how every detail of our wedding weekend at Castello del Trebbio turned out. From the very first day, everything felt special and thoughtfully planned.

Our experience began with the castle tour and welcome dinner. We loved learning about the history of the Castello, having the opportunity to visit the Sala della Congiura, enjoying the wine tasting, and, of course, the delicious food. The gelato service was also a wonderful touch and something our guests truly enjoyed. It was the perfect way to welcome everyone and begin such a meaningful weekend.

On our wedding day, one of the things we appreciated most was being able to truly relax and enjoy every moment, knowing that we were in the best hands. Every vendor recommended by the Castello was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Thomas and his photography and videography team, Chiara and her floral team, Sara and her hair and makeup team, DJ Gian Marco, our officiant and day-of coordinator Francesca, the transportation team, La Sosta del Gusto and their wonderful restaurant team, and our gelato vendor Nuvole di Latte, all contributed to making our weekend absolutely unforgettable.

And, of course, we are incredibly grateful to Alberto, who supported us throughout the entire planning process. He was always available to answer our questions, guide us through decisions, and make thoughtful recommendations. His support gave us so much confidence and allowed us to arrive at our wedding weekend feeling calm and excited rather than stressed about the details.

Our guests were equally delighted with their stay. They loved the villas, the food, the beauty of the Castello, and the overall experience. Many of them specifically commented on how well organized everything was, which meant so much to us.

The final day was the perfect way to end the weekend. The brunch was absolutely exceptional, and it gave us one last opportunity to relax, spend time with our guests, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before everyone headed home.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at this beautiful place, and we truly could not have wished for a better venue. From the very first moment, we were impressed – and our guests were absolutely blown away by the location as well. The atmosphere is simply unique, and you immediately feel comfortable and welcome.

Alberto supported and accompanied us with incredible dedication from beginning to end. He was always there for us, always willing to listen, and truly gave his absolute best to make sure our special day was exactly as we had imagined it. You can immediately see how passionate he is about his work and how much experience he brings with him. At the same time, he is a truly special person - incredibly empathetic, funny, warm-hearted, and with a huge heart.

Giuliana and her team also made our day incredibly special. Breakfast, the aperitivo, and dinner were all absolutely delicious and perfect. Everything was prepared with so much care and beautifully presented. The service was excellent as well. With her positive and powerful personality, Giuliana captivated everyone. Her energy, warmth, and passion for what she does were simply contagious.

A big thank you also goes to Thomas, our photographer, Sara, our stylist, and Chiara, our florist. Sara created a beautiful look for us, and we felt completely comfortable and wonderful. Thomas captured the special moments of our day with so much feeling. His photographs turned out beautifully and will allow us to relive this unique day for years to come. Chiara arranged our flowers with incredible attention to detail and prepared the entire decoration with so much love and care. You could truly feel the passion and dedication that went into every single detail – everything was absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited to our special day.

What touched us most, however, was how incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating everyone was. You can feel that everyone shares the same passion and truly puts their heart into what they do. We never felt like just guests or customers. Instead, everyone made us feel like we were part of something special. And that is exactly why it never felt like an ordinary wedding venue to us, but rather like home.

Thank you to the entire team for making the most beautiful day of our lives so incredibly special.

The team was incredibly flexible and went above and beyond to make sure Ryan and I had the perfect wedding weekend. We had 68 guests for the wedding and the team made sure their every need was met. Alberto helping coordinate transportation to and from the venue was a huge effort on his part but made it so easy for our guest traveling from the USA to Italy for our wedding. Cannot thank him enough. The guided tour through the castle lead by Alberto was a highlight for us all! The food all weekend was delicious and the service that came along with the food was impeccable! I had a few guests say it was their favorite meals of their entire European vacation!

We got married in July so the air conditioning in the villas put in a lot of work, but the accommodations were excellent! Each villa is equipped with full kitchens and excellent bathrooms and living spaces. Our guests loved getting to swim at the pools associated with each villa (3 total).

If you can go out for the food tasting before the wedding that alberto offers, we highly recommended doing so. It helped us meet the team and see the venue which helped with planning later on!

Getting married overseas can be difficult (from what we hear) but the team at Castello del trebbio is so professional and caring that we didn’t experience issues and the entire process was smooth!

Truly cannot say thank you enough to the amazing team all weekend! They were incredible and we would strongly recommend choosing Castello del Trebbio for your wedding!!

From the very beginning of planning until the end of our wedding week, every detail was handled with such care. Alberto was incredible throughout the entire process. Planning a destination wedding comes with countless questions, and he always went above and beyond to answer our many emails promptly, offer advice, and solve any issues that came up. His organization and attention to detail made the entire experience feel effortless.

We chose the three-day wedding package, and it was one of the best decisions we made. It gave us so much extra time to celebrate with our family and friends instead of feeling like everything was over in a single day. From the welcome drinks, castle tour, and dinner on the first evening to the relaxing pool day and Italian barbecue after the wedding, every event was thoughtfully planned and memorable. Our guests are still talking about Alberto’s castle tour, the incredible food, the wine, and the wedding cake!

A special thank you to Julianna, who quickly became one of our favorite people. She was so attentive and thoughtful, even helping us move our farewell dinner indoors because of the heat without missing a beat. She truly made everyone feel so well cared for, and well fed too!

On our wedding day, I have never felt more relaxed. Thanks to Alberto and the amazing staff, everything was so well organized that all we had to do was enjoy every moment. There wasn’t a single thing we had to worry about.

We genuinely cannot recommend Castello del Trebbio enough for a destination wedding. The breathtaking venue, exceptional staff, amazing food and wine, and unforgettable experience made it everything we could have dreamed of and more.
