Wow wow wow. It really is tough to think about how to begin writing this review and summarize our incredible experience at Castello Del Trebbio.

Our amazing experience began 14 months before the wedding, with the very first video call with Alberto - his humor, professionalism, and promptness filled my wife and I with all the confidence in the world that we could plan a dream wedding for all of our friends and family from afar.

Over the next year, we would communicate almost weekly (and eventually daily) with Alberto - he would reply almost immediately. He helped us think through every aspect of the weekend experience, the logistics, the questions, the "what if's". He was so organized, thoughtful, and charismatic.

The Castello venue itself is something out of a fairytale! Pictures truly don't do it justice. The Castello.. the villas.. the swimming pools.. everything was magical.

And the food from La Sosta Del Gusto still has our guests reminiscing about the amazing meals we shared.

Everything from the welcome dinner to the farewell brunch exceeded our expectations. We left the wedding weekend with memories we will never forget + wedding guests saying this was their favorite wedding they've ever been to!

We live in NYC and got married on Oct. 19, 2024 at Castello del Trebbio. We were joined by 43 other guests for a Friday - Monday celebration. We had the dreamiest, most magical wedding and wedding weekend, even with the intermittent rain. Everything exceeded all expectations (the wine tasting and tour was INCREDIBLE, and a true highlight!! Alberto is a fantastic story teller.), and all weekend long we continued to hear from guests, "This was the BEST wedding we've ever been to."

Planning a destination wedding was intimidating, but Alberto (venue manager, and an absolute GEM) made it as easy and as seamless as possible. First and foremost he is kind and professional, and has a great sense of humor. He cares about the venue deeply; his work is more than just about hosting your wedding. It is about highlighting the rich history of the venue, and honoring the venue's legacy, whilst guiding you to planning one of the biggest events of your life! We can't thank him enough for all of the time and support he provided this past year.

Alberto is super responsive and will answer any and all questions with no judgment. We opted for an all-inclusive package and chose from a curated list of vendors for photography, hair/makeup, music, etc. This was the best decision because 1. They work with wonderful vendors, and 2. These vendors know the venue and Alberto well, so coordinating things the days leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding was a breeze and did not involve much of me or my husband!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking. I felt like I was in a painting. It's surreal how stunning the venue is, and I felt beyond lucky to get to wake up to the birds chirping and the rolling hills of Tuscany for 3 glorious mornings! It was a major plus that rooms had ensuite bathrooms to add to our guests' comfort.

Food was high priority for my husband and I, and we were nervous not having been able to do a tasting (or see the venue, for that matter, until we arrived for the wedding!). But my god! Every course of the wedding meal (and every other meal we had there) was divine, and the restaurant manager, Julianna is so warm and honestly, just lovely to be in the presence of. Our family and friends loved her! Everyone working on the premises really make you feel like you're staying and dining in someone's home.

The food and wine highlighted local ingredients and seasonal produce, which we loved! I almost skipped serving sweet wine during our rehearsal dinner because I'm not a fan, but Alberto convinced me to try it. We were so glad we did, as it was many of the guests' (and our) favorite wine from the evening! It just goes to show--you can and should fully trust Alberto. If you listen to his suggestions (he's so experienced in this work!), remain flexible and keep an open mind, all will be PERFECT!

As I mentioned before, we dealt with intermittent rain on the day of our wedding and despite having to make last minute changes, we were so happy with all of the back up plans. We felt that some of the back up plans actually turned out better than what we had originally planned for.

There's so many more positive things I could say about Alberto and Castello del Trebbio, but I think this provides a good overview. Choosing to host your loved ones at Castello del Trebbio will be one of the greatest decisions you ever make! It was truly a picture perfect, unforgettable experience from start to finish! We can't wait to go back to the venue to celebrate our 5-year anniversary (as per Alberto's request :)).

Our wedding was absolutely perfect at Castello Del Trebbio. We had three days at the property with all of our guests. Alberto was an amazing help, really responsive and gave us a wonderful welcome tour and dinner. Breakfasts and lunches were so smooth and the actual wedding and reception was seamless! The location could not have been better and was a beautiful background for the wedding. We had cocktail hour on the restaurant terrace which made for unreal pictures and dinner in the restaurant was so romantic and beautiful.
