We booked Haley’s Court for our wedding week and cannot say enough incredible things about our experience—it is family friendly (or not if you so choose!), has beautiful options for bridal suites, has an amazing backyard for hosting a rehearsal dinner and welcome gathering, and couldn’t be in a better location. We had been looking for a hotel wedding block for our bridal party and family and after touring a chain hotel across the street and having no luck, we saw the cute, vintage sign for Haley’s Court across the road and popped over to the office where we met Shelby. Shelby is the niece of the family-owned boutique motel and was finishing final touches on the beautifully renovated spaces. There are 16 apartments/units at the motel, and we asked about blocking out the whole place for our guests. Shelby went above and beyond to get us a great price and worked with us for months to coordinate our week of events at the end of September. Family Friendly: As a bride and groom local to Saint Augustine and Gainesville, we spent a lot of time deliberating about where to get married and where our out-of-town guests would have the best time. Haley’s Court checked all the boxes for our guests old and young. It was incredibly easy for our friends and family to book unique rooms that worked for each of them. For example, we had several bridesmaids traveling with their parents and children who needed rooms close together. Haley’s Court has multiple rooms located side by side, which made it incredibly convenient for families to stay nearby while still enjoying their own private space. This setup allowed grandparents to help watch the kids during the wedding while everyone remained comfortable for the rest of the weekend. We also loved the outdoor lounge area. It has space for 16 people to sit comfortably and enjoy coffee and breakfast and coloring books. The rooms range from queen studios to multi-room suites with king beds, pull-out queens, and full kitchens. Several rooms also have private patios! The units are arranged in a U-shape, so everyone’s door opens into a courtyard (rather than a dark hallway like most chain hotels!), making it super convenient for the bridal party to keep an eye on kids and still be present for wedding activities. Bridal Suite: Another thing that we loved was that Unit 14 (Salt Run) was perfect for a bridal suite! It has a massive open-concept kitchen and dining area (for four) along with a living room with a huge couch and bar stools at the counter for makeup and hair. Our photographer (Julianna Montane) is a Florida native, so she was quite at home at Haley’s Court, and we loved taking pictures with her on the morning of our wedding. The Salt Run bedroom has a beautiful and comfortable king bed for the newlyweds and there are even full-size bunk beds tucked in a corner of the apartment which came in handy for a few guests who needed to stay a night here or there before their accommodations were ready. One thing that was super unexpected but needed was that the Salt Run has a massive walk-in closet that fit boxes and boxes of wedding décor, rehearsal dinner supplies, folding tables, three inflatable paddle boards, cornhole, and so much more! Rehearsal Dinner: We rented out the whole place, so we were able to host our rehearsal dinner in the backyard! We loved the greenspace which has a gazebo and string lights, plenty of cute Adirondack chairs, and several picnic tables lent to us by the motel. We threw a BBQ catered by Brisky’s and played cornhole and just had a fantastic time. Our guests love the motel décor--it is perfectly Floridian so everyone who came from out of town felt like they got a perfect beach experience! One thing to note—Haley’s Court uses the fantastic backyard for events like ours, so it unfortunately can’t be dog-friendly. As dog parents, this was bittersweet because it would have been great to have our pup with us but at the same time, we appreciated that the backyard space was super clean. This was literally the only potential negative we could come up with, and even so, it was not so much of a negative as it was a positive tradeoff for our rehearsal dinner picnic and welcome gathering plans! Location: Because you exit Haley’s Court and turn left and hit the beach or turn right and hit the Vilano Beach Pier, there's really no way to get lost in this little island village. A cute Irish pub (Durty Neli’s) had just opened next door, and the groom held his bachelor party there—the staff were amazing. The water-front restaurant (Beaches) is right next to the pier and was able to accommodate 80 wedding guests outside on the deck for lunch the day after the wedding. After our rehearsal dinner in the backyard of Haley’s Court, we walked across the street to Pesca Rooftop and our photographer took beautiful sunset photos with our guests. From the roof, you can see the lighthouse, downtown St. Augustine, and the intracoastal, and they usually have live music. The rooftop is pretty big and was able to accommodate more than 100 guests coming and going. We also tried out the pizza place by the Irish pub which is amazing. They make a burger wrapped in pizza dough called an American Pie and our British guests thought it was the coolest. There's also a cute coffee shop just next door to the motel that serves Kookaburra Coffee and Crème de la Coco pastries which are both Saint Augustine staples! Haley's Court also provided us with QR codes and a discount for bike rentals, which our guests loved. There's also a nature boardwalk just behind the motel that connects this area to all the neighborhoods on the other side of the bridge, so if guests book vacation rentals down the road, nobody has to walk on the busy A1A to get there! Getting to Historic Downtown: Our wedding ceremony and reception were in the touristy downtown area of St. Augustine by the marina and there is a water taxi that takes you from the Vilano Beach Pier to the marina downtown so our guests were able to not only enjoy doing tourist things downtown in their spare time, but they were also able to get to and from the venue without driving. We also rented Old Town Trolley buses to take guests who were less enthusiastic about boating, and we highly recommend working with Old Town Trolley if you decide to bus your guests. Nights of Lights: We loved Haley’s Court so much that we (the bride and groom) booked a room (Unit 4!) for a birthday celebration in January a few months after our wedding. As locals, we stay away from downtown during Nights of Lights—parking is a nightmare, and the city is bustling. Haley’s Court is super on-it—they emailed us ahead of our January stay with all the information you could possibly need about navigating Nights of Lights. There were even tips in there that we were not aware of and have since started sharing with our own visitors when they come! Something great about Haley’s Court during this time (November through January) is that Vilano Beach stays un-crowded during Nights of Lights despite the chaos downtown. It’s difficult to get a dinner reservation downtown during this time, but in Vilano, we were able to walk into Michael’s without a reservation and were seated immediately. We had the best meal of our lives at Michael’s—it’s a well-known restaurant that was located in downtown St. Augustine but moved to Vilano last year ago. Finally, if you’d like to see the lights but not deal with the crowd, you can book one of the water tours that leaves from the pier at Beaches restaurant and see the lights from the water! If you are a couple looking for a unique, picturesque, family-owned experience for you and your wedding guests, we cannot recommend Haley’s Court enough. We feel like we stumbled into the hidden gem find of a lifetime. We have already come back to stay not even three months post-nuptials and we can’t wait to keep coming back for anniversary and birthday trips for years to come!

In the search for the perfect venue my fiancé and I looked at over 26 possible locations from Homestead all the way up to Boca Ratón. Once we saw the Colonnade we searched no further. It’s an amazingly beautiful, historic, elegant, and well-located venue with the most unbelievable staff. Every single encounter we had from the valet to the servers, to the event coordinators were all exceptional. Their level of service and care to ensure a perfect event is executed was noteworthy even by our guests who commented that they had never received such good table service at a wedding before. The front desk and concierge was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond at every encounter. The food was delicious and the quality of the wine and champagne was excellent. Although not a low-budget venue, every penny spent was well worth the money as the wedding was beyond anything we hoped for or imagined.

The stuff was respectful and responsive to our questions. All was prepared for our wedding day. It was beautifully decorated. The day went off well and we are grateful we chose the Hilton Cocoa Beach.

We worked with AnneMarie and other members of her staff at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa for my daughter's June 2025 wedding. It exceeded expectations. 10 out of 10 for everything. AnneMarie was responsive and worked within our budget to have the most elegant and stress-free wedding experience. The venue is amazing. Our guests had a vacation experience while staying. The room rate was fantastic and the service and food at the resort is wonderful. We never left the resort for our 4 day stay. We never had to, everything was on site.

I am so happy to have chosen this as my venue. I had the ceremony and reception at this location and everything was perfect. Excellent service from everyone and the food was top tier. I opted for the personal preference package with the top tier bar and it was the hit of the night. The suite that the hotel reserved for our wedding night was absolutely breath taking. Thank you Hyatt!!!

We had our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, and it was truly a dream come true from start to finish. For our ~75-person destination wedding, the venue, staff, and planning experience exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, we were blown away by the breathtaking grounds, the seamless organization, and the incredible people who made our day possible. The ceremony at Cypress Point was absolutely angelic. The soft white fabric overhead reflected the light beautifully, making for the most stunning photos, and the long walk around the water created a dramatic, unforgettable aisle moment. I especially appreciated that the pool and water activity areas were separate, which kept the ceremony space peaceful and private. Our reception at La Coquina was straight out of a fairytale. The space has so much character on its own, with flowing fountains, a perfect view of the sunset, and even visibility of Disney fireworks in the distance—it made the evening feel magical. The food was phenomenal, and our guests are still raving about it. The wait staff was just as impressive—swift, attentive, and so kind. Everything flowed beautifully, and we felt truly taken care of. And the cake—wow. As a bride, I initially had some reservations about using a venue-made cake instead of a specialty bakery, but that worry disappeared quickly. The cake they created was beyond what I dreamed of. I showed them a photo, and they somehow made it even better. Plus, the flavor options were amazing, and it tasted just as good as it looked (if not better!). A huge part of why our day was so flawless is thanks to the exceptional coordination between Hyatt’s on-site team and the amazing planning services through their partner, Just Marry! Working with Emylie Rose from Just Marry! was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Emylie was warm, responsive, detail-oriented, and simply a joy to work with. Her attention to every detail, calm energy, and deep knowledge made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Our journey with Just Marry! actually began before we chose Hyatt—after meeting Mairead DeLuca at another venue, we were so impressed with the Just Marry! team that it became one of the reasons we ultimately chose the Grand Cypress. The partnership between Emylie and Hyatt’s incredible venue coordinator, Hannah Long, was the definition of a well-oiled machine. Watching them work together was like witnessing two people perfectly in sync, navigating everything behind the scenes with total ease and grace. Hannah deserves her own spotlight—she was the heart of the Hyatt wedding team. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always five steps ahead, she made us feel like we were her only priority. She took care of every detail, answered every question (including the ones I didn’t know to ask), and made sure we felt celebrated at every turn. From sweet surprise goodies to handling uninvited guests and late arrivals with total professionalism, her calming presence made a world of difference. Both teams—Hyatt and Just Marry!—worked seamlessly to bring our vision to life. Emylie’s coordination on the day of the wedding was next-level. She managed timelines, soothed nerves, and even pulled out fans, water, and essentials as if by magic. She was like the best friend you didn’t know you needed—anticipating needs, keeping everything on track, and making sure my husband and I were able to be present and enjoy every moment. One of the most emotional moments of the day was seeing our reception room for the first time—I cried happy tears seeing our vision brought to life so perfectly. If you’re considering getting married at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, do it. Between the stunning venues, the top-tier service, and the powerhouse coordination between Hyatt and Just Marry!, you’ll be in the best hands. Our wedding day was not only beautiful—it was joyful, smooth, and unforgettable. We will forever be grateful.

No other venue even comes close to the beauty and elegance of the National Hotel. Ivette, the Director of Sales & Marketing, was a dream to work with!! She made planning from Chicago a breeze and did not let any detail go untouched. From my very first meeting with Ivette all the way through to our post-wedding party, we were treated like royalty. We were greeted in our bridal suite with a fresh fruit bowl, chocolate covered strawberries, variety of pastries, and a bottle of our (my) favorite wine! Anytime we needed something or had a last minute request, Ivette made it happen! Our every want and need was addressed and taken care of seamlessly and professionally. The staff, servers, and bartenders at the National Hotel knew every last detail of the event; all guests were made to feel important throughout their stay and during our event. We also reserved a room block for our guests, which was a great addition! We had our ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Aqua Pool; the pre-existing decor and ambiance of the National Hotel is something you truly cannot find anywhere else in Miami! We also hosted our post-wedding party at the cabanas by the pool; it was a gorgeous ending to such an unforgettable and dreamy wedding day! Our guests absolutely LOVED the menu we hand-selected; the National Hotel has so many fabulous options, and such a wide variety, to choose from. We were able to customize all of the food and beverage menus for our entire wedding weekend; from getting ready with our wedding party all the way through to our late night snacks station on our wedding night. We were able to taste and select from a wide variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour, and construct an amazing dinner menu for our guests. Ivette also worked with us to create a signature cocktail and to personalize our wine selections. Ivette knew how important the little details were to me, so before our ceremony we walked through and admired all of the beautiful work that all of the vendors did to bring our vision to life! I cannot imagine my wedding day any other way. If you are looking for the most PERFECT venue to host your wedding, we highly recommend the National Hotel!! 10 out of 5 stars! XO Becca & Tyler

Wedding planning felt completely seamless thanks to Nataly and the team at The Palms Hotel & Spa. From the very beginning, Nataly was incredibly attentive, responsive, and organized - even with multiple weddings happening every weekend at the property. They provided every detail we needed upfront, and their preferred vendor list and thoughtfully designed wedding packages made the entire process feel so digestible and stress-free. Everything was clear, streamlined, and easy to navigate, which made a huge difference throughout planning. Beyond the process, the property itself is absolutely spectacular. The setting created the perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience with our friends and family. Our guests are still raving about how special and beautiful everything was. We cannot recommend The Palms enough - it was everything we hoped for and more!

Sweetwater Branch Inn (SWB) went above and BEYOND to make my wedding weekend everything I had dreamed of—and more. If I could give SWB a million out of five stars, I absolutely would! My wedding was on March 16, 2025, and originally planned as an outdoor event. The team at SWB was incredibly flexible, allowing me to get creative with the venue and hold the ceremony and dinner in a different location than usual—an accommodation that was impressive in itself! Just days before the wedding, a storm was predicted to hit. At the last minute, we ordered a tent for the gardens (something that had never been done before), completely reworked the layout we had spent over a year planning, and somehow, everything turned out perfectly! Adrienne, the event coordinator, and Angel, the food and beverage coordinator, were nothing short of incredible. Adrienne went above and beyond, dedicating extra time and effort to ensure my vision came to life with all of the last-minute changes. My close family stayed at the Inn and didn’t want to leave! Guests traveled from Canada, New York City, and even Sydney, Australia—and every single one of them raved about their stay. From the friendly and helpful staff to the elegant vintage decor and the delicious food (both at breakfast and the wedding!), they were beyond impressed. I cannot say enough great things about Sweetwater Branch Inn and the amazing event venue they provide. They do everything with heart, which is so rare these days—and that, above all, meant the world to me and my guests.

We had our wedding held at the Diplomat this past Oct and couldn't be happier! Everyone was very attentive and helpful. Linda did a great job and made us feel very comfortable throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. The food was excellent as well! We highly recommend the Diplomat.
