Towering palm trees add a lush, otherworldly feel to the outdoor event spaces at this hotel. For indoor events, several ballrooms are picture-perfect for an evening of fine dining and dancing. The Island Room is a Victorian-style gazebo space with panoramic views of the ocean horizon. While the Everglades Ballroom is a stunning banquet hall with glittering chandeliers and warm decors. Wedding parties may even privately charter the Sanibel Princess Yacht for an exclusive wedding ceremony and reception on the water. The yacht is also ideal for rehearsal dinners and morning-after brunches with up to 100 guests.

My wife and I are writing to express our sincere gratitude for the outstanding wedding celebration you hosted for us on Saturday, May 24th. Everything about the day exceeded our expectations, and we are still overjoyed with how smoothly and beautifully everything unfolded.
The service we received from every member of your staff was truly amazing. From the initial setup to the final moments of the reception, we were so impressed by the attentiveness and professionalism shown throughout the event. Our guests also commented on how well they were looked after, which meant a great deal to us.
We would especially like to thank Anne Marie. She was absolutely incredible and ensured that every single detail was handled flawlessly. From our initial meetings to the day itself, her guidance and support were invaluable. Her dedication and care made our wedding day so perfect and stress-free. Amazing venue and staff for a wedding.
Phenomenal Wedding!
The food was absolutely amazing—our guests are still raving about it! The chef even came out to personally check in with us to make sure we were happy, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The level of customer service was exceptional across the board.
The entire staff went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality and attention to detail. We hosted a full weekend of events, including a welcome gathering on Friday, our ceremony and reception on Saturday, and a farewell breakfast on Sunday—with 175 guests flying in from all over—and everything ran seamlessly.
I highly recommend the Marriott as a wedding venue. If you're managing a hotel room block, be sure to stay in close communication with the Marriott team—booking logistics can get a little complicated (not the staff’s fault!), but with clear coordination, it all works out.
We couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Marriott team, for helping us create such unforgettable memories!
