Historic Wedding Venues in Naples

We had an incredible experience hosting a November wedding at the Burroughs Home. We had about 100 people wedding party included. Getting ready in the historic home itself made for some really incredible details/getting ready shots. Melissa was incredible as a wedding planner and we worked with her ~10 months out and up to the day of the wedding. Our guests loved the river views. We added on the option for tours inside the historic home and multiple guests enjoyed that too. The entire home staff day-of was very helpful and friendly and all guests were well tended- too. We selected Complete Weddings to coordinate videography, photography and DJ, and that was really convenient. The vendors knew the venue very well. We were thrilled with Christine for photography, Martin for videography, and Alex as DJ; all were quickly responsive via email or text and had no problem setting up meetings via zoom (as we do not live locally). We hired Glamology for hair and makeup and 100% would recommend, Elise and her assistant were incredible, everyone's hair and makeup truly stayed 1-+ hours. Fort Myers was hit by multiple hurricanes in 2 months leading up to our date but we got very lucky with minimal if any damage- keep that in mind if selecting this venue in late fall.

I genuinely wish I could tell the entire world how incredible Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Calee, Dharma, and their entire team were for our wedding day. We got married here on September 19th, and our wedding day was truly nothing short of a dream. First, the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The history, architecture, beautiful columns (which were personally my favorite!), and the stunning draping create an atmosphere that speaks for itself. My guests were speechless at how beautiful everything was. Our décor was beautiful, but the venue has such incredible “bones” that it honestly didn’t need much added to make it unforgettable. But what made our experience truly exceptional were Calee and Dharma. When I originally booked the venue, they explained that they were venue coordinators—not personal wedding coordinators—and I completely understood and respected that. Unfortunately, shortly before our wedding, we had an extremely difficult experience with our personal coordinator and were unexpectedly left without the support we had been counting on. That’s when Calee and Dharma stepped up. They absolutely did not have to take on everything they did for us, but they saw that we needed help and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding happened exactly the way we dreamed it would. Calee, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You had only recently started working at the venue when I booked it, yet from the beginning you jumped in with a smile and made me feel like you genuinely cared about me and my wedding—not like I was simply another event on a checklist. You always responded incredibly quickly, answered questions before I even knew I needed to ask them, and radiated nothing but positivity. On my wedding day, you stayed by my side as the bride, making sure everything was going the way I needed it to and helping me feel calm and taken care of. Dharma, you were absolutely incredible too. I had only met you once before the wedding, but the moment I saw you, I immediately felt at ease. You have an energy that is so genuine that even our conversations felt less like I was talking to someone working my wedding and more like I was talking to someone I had known for years. While Calee was with me, Dharma was behind the scenes making everything happen—setting up every centerpiece, helping with the ceremony, and making sure the countless details came together. The catering, DJ, décor, ceremony setup, lighting, and all the little transitions throughout the day would not have come together the way they did without these two stepping in. The weather was also a huge concern because having an outdoor ceremony was one of the things I wanted most. Thankfully, God came through and I got my literal dream wedding. And knowing Calee and Dharma were there, ready to make whatever needed to happen work, gave me so much peace. I arrived at 9:00 AM sharp, and they opened the doors for me immediately. Everything was already set up or ready to go. Every time a last-minute issue came up, they immediately found a solution. No panic, no making me feel like a burden—just calm, capable people figuring it out and making it happen. There were also several gentlemen working that day whose names I unfortunately didn’t get, but I want to acknowledge them as well. Their professionalism, kindness, respect, and genuine warmth before our guests had even arrived meant more to me than they probably realize. If I could have my wedding at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center with Calee and Dharma a billion times over, I would. They turned what could have been an incredibly stressful situation into one of the most beautiful days of my life. I will forever be grateful that they stepped up when I needed help the most. To anyone considering getting married here: the venue is stunning, but the people behind it are what make the experience truly unforgettable. Calee and Dharma, thank you for helping give me the wedding day I had dreamed about. You went far beyond what you ever had to do, and I will never forget it. ❤️ Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center will forever hold such a special place in our hearts.

We attended a wedding at Shangri La years ago, so when it was time to look for our own wedding venue, we knew Shangri La would be perfect. If you’re into nature or you’re looking for an old, historic hidden gem- this venue is an absolute dream. The setting is gorgeous and the property has several different areas and options to choose from. We had our reception at the back of the property at the gazebo, cocktail hour at the mermaid fountain, and our reception in the courtyard. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue!

The Tree House was absolutely perfect for my wedding ceremony & reception! It is such a beautiful venue. We did their all inclusive package, which is so much more affordable than anything I had seen in my searching for all that it comes with. They took care of basically everything! The wedding planning process was a ton easier than it would be at most venues, especially without even having to add a special coordinator package or anything. Shannon & her team went above & beyond every step of the way and especially day of. Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for a better experience. Their communication was great, food was delicious, cake was amazing, great DJ, everything was just amazing! They have selected only the best vendors. Don’t hesitate to choose The Tree House for your wedding or any event! You will be very happy!
