Historic Wedding Venues in Florida

We absolutely loved the Gorrie Mill for our wedding. I could not have imagined a more perfect setting for my wedding. I would suggest this venue every single time for the most dreamy wedding.

We recently had our small wedding at the Historic Entrance of Pinecrest Gardens, and it was nothing short of magical. The venue is absolutely stunning—lush, tropical greenery surrounds the area, and the historic stone architecture gives it a timeless, romantic feel that felt perfect for an intimate celebration. The staff at Pinecrest Gardens were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. Everything was well-organized, and they worked seamlessly with our vendors to make sure the day went smoothly.

Sunken Gardens was simply breathtaking—the perfect setting for our wedding day. From the moment we booked to our final walkthrough and rehearsal, the entire team was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and kind. They made the whole process feel seamless and stress-free. We held our ceremony outdoors on the North Lawn, which was absolutely stunning, and our reception under the clear tent on the Wedding Lawn—such a dreamy setup that allowed the beauty of the gardens to shine through all evening. For cocktail hour, we hosted guests in the Oak Pavilion, where the birds made a special appearance—such a unique and unforgettable touch that everyone loved. The entire setting feels magical. Everywhere you turn is lush, vibrant, and picture-perfect. I still get chills thinking about how beautiful it all was and how special it felt to celebrate our day there. If you’re looking for a venue that feels like a hidden oasis and delivers an unforgettable experience, Sunken Gardens is truly unmatched.

Everything went as planned…. In fact it was perfect! The Bonnet staff were so accommodating to our needs. No one wanted to go home at the end of the wedding. The next few days we heard from friends and family about how lovely the setting was, the old world charm and history. Susanne and her team could not have been more helpful. So glad the Bonnet was available to us. Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The venue was awesome, it was raining during most of the wedding and last minute had to add on a tent. For the space, I didn't think a tent would look good, and reluctantly ordered the tent just a few hours before the event. It looked amazing, and even with the rain, it didn't really matter. Everyone had a great time, and the tent made it even better and more intimate. Would definitely go back at some point

We had an incredible experience hosting a November wedding at the Burroughs Home. We had about 100 people wedding party included. Getting ready in the historic home itself made for some really incredible details/getting ready shots. Melissa was incredible as a wedding planner and we worked with her ~10 months out and up to the day of the wedding. Our guests loved the river views. We added on the option for tours inside the historic home and multiple guests enjoyed that too. The entire home staff day-of was very helpful and friendly and all guests were well tended- too. We selected Complete Weddings to coordinate videography, photography and DJ, and that was really convenient. The vendors knew the venue very well. We were thrilled with Christine for photography, Martin for videography, and Alex as DJ; all were quickly responsive via email or text and had no problem setting up meetings via zoom (as we do not live locally). We hired Glamology for hair and makeup and 100% would recommend, Elise and her assistant were incredible, everyone's hair and makeup truly stayed 1-+ hours. Fort Myers was hit by multiple hurricanes in 2 months leading up to our date but we got very lucky with minimal if any damage- keep that in mind if selecting this venue in late fall.

Different from other venues, we only had to book the space, and the rest was left to us. We could choose any vendors, and that allowed us to curate our wedding reception exactly how we wanted it. I've noticed other venues require food and drink minimum, but this was not the case at all. We were more than happy with the venue and loved every aspect. 10/10 venue, 12/10 staff

We had the most AMAZING experience having our wedding at Casa Feliz! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and has so much character that you really don’t need to do much to make it feel special. One of the best parts was how easy they made the entire planning process. Having the catering, bar, linens, napkins, silverware, plates, table setup, breakdown, and so many other details handled for us took an incredible amount of stress off our shoulders. We were also able to make a few changes to personalize things, and the team was always willing to work with us. The food was incredible, the staff was wonderful, and our bartenders were so friendly and fun with our guests. Lori was also amazing throughout the entire process. She was always responsive, helpful, patient with all of our questions and last-minute changes, and genuinely made us feel like everything was taken care of. Our wedding came together even more beautifully than we imagined, and we are so happy we chose Casa Feliz. One thing I HIGHLY recommend to any couple considering Casa Feliz is taking the historic house tour before your wedding! There are so many interesting and fun facts about the house and its history, and knowing them made us appreciate the venue even more. It made it feel that much more special to celebrate our wedding in a place with so much history and character And one little tip for future couples: if you’re getting married during the hotter months, I would recommend doing longer speeches inside! We had three speeches outside, and by the end our poor guests were definitely feeling the Florida heat. 😂 Because of the local noise restrictions, microphones aren’t allowed outside, which is completely understandable and outside of the venue’s control, but it’s something worth considering when planning your timeline. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and would choose Casa Feliz all over again. It was truly the perfect place for our wedding day! 🤍

The White Room is the best venue in northeast Florida! We toured several other venues and nothing quite compares. Location, price, and experience is unmatched. Destiny was the absolute best coordinator! We had the pleasure of working with her from booking all the way until the end of our wedding night. She was there every step of the way and answered every question promptly and with professionalism. She assisted us with each choice and made sure everything was perfect. As the bride I did not worry about a single detail on our wedding day. She truly has a gift. I can not imagine a better venue or experience. Our guests have not stopped boasting about the night. hope I can attend an event at the White Room in the future!
