The Woman's Exchange of St. Augustine welcomes your special events - weddings, receptions, anniversaries, corporate receptions and meals and family parties, especially for the important days in your lives.
Groups of 30 to 125 can be accommodated within the historic Peña-Peck House and its garden located in the heart of St. Augustine's historic district. For more than 50 years, The Woman's Exchange has opened the garden and downstairs rooms of the historic Peña-Peck House for these activities.
Our commercial kitchen is inspected regularly by the Florida Department of Health and meets and exceeds all standards. Outside caterer are permitted. If your caterer is not on our preferred list, we welcome them but have requirements that must be met by your caterer. Ask for more details on this. Under the auspices of the city of St. Augustine's liquor-consumption permit, the Exchange allows alcoholic beverages on the site but the bartender(s) must be hired by the contractor for the event.
Events may be scheduled year-round in our garden. A tent and outdoor lighting is strongly recommended for weddings where the garden will host both the ceremony and the reception. There are certain times around holidays when the Exchange may not be available but please call us to see if we can make arrangements to suit your need.
Tables and chairs to seat 125 are included with site fees or you may rent your own.

Stunning Courtyard - Lush and Tranquil
Was a great experience working with Chianna coordinating everything at the Pena Peck House! Was perfectly comfortable for 80 seated guests - 95 working the event floor! Beautiful setting in October - flowers in trees, very lush, loved the fountain, overall great set up! Cross your fingers for beautiful weather to have the stars above your head!

We held our April wedding at the Pena Peck House on St George Street. The planning process from start to finish was very smooth, and the venue was well kept in preparation for hosting a beautiful event. Lynne was there the night of our wedding and was pleasant and professional, ensuring our valuables were safely locked up and directing potential wedding crashers out without notice. We chose the Pena Peck house for the history of the site, as well as the beauty of the gardens. I will admit we were incredibly worried after the hurricane uprooted most of the gardens, but it turned out to be a secret blessing, the gardens came back even more beautiful with their new landscape designers. Most of our guests had never heard of this location, so even the local guests felt as if they had been invited to something special and unique. I highly recommend you reach out to their preferred vendor lists for lighting, the extra string lights made the space look absolutely magical.Sent on 07/25/2017
It was everything I dreamed of, and more. On top of that, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Mary in particular made the day so much easier and less stressful, a woman like that is invaluable honestly. We knew there would be security, but had no idea it would be an actual police officer. It was nice to know that random drinkers from St George street wouldnt be able to wonder in, and the officer was so friendly.
Highly recommend this location if you are interested in a classy and intimate garden party. We were able to use the location for both ceremony and reception, the sentiment we have heard from everyone is that it was the "most beautiful" and "most romantic" wedding they've ever seen.
This is an amazing museum in historic downtown St. Augustine to have your ceremony or reception or both! The volunteers put on amazing events that are truly unique. The garden turns into a magical place with strings of lights, paper lanterns and a big white tent. Gorgeous!
