Absolutely gorgeous venue and property!!! Right when we saw Marywood we knew it was the one! Marywood is truly a hidden gem! The whole property is stunning and on the water which makes for beautiful photos and absolutely breathtaking sunsets. The property grounds are blessed, so if you are Catholic you can have your wedding ceremony outside on the water. We had our wedding ceremony at our church and had our reception at Marywood. The River Room where we had our reception is gorgeous and perfect for a bigger sized wedding. They have villas on the property that are exquisite and perfect for in town and out of town guests. All our guests raved about their stay in the villas and the whole process with getting them was stress free, which they loved. Our guests loved the common area in the villas to reminisce and have family time with lots of laughter. The bridal suite is so beautiful and homey with lots of natural light. The groom and groomsmen have a wonderful spacious space to get ready in as well! The chef and catering staff were so kind and wonderful and the food was outstanding and so delicious! Everyone was raving about the food. After our wedding everyone was ready to do it all over again the next weekend since they had such a wonderful time! You will be amazed and in good hands with Marywood for sure! All our guests were raving about our reception, the space, the property, the food, the staff, the villas and Brianna! Brianna was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She is so sweet, and SO helpful! She was always there for whatever questions we had and responded so quickly and always made time for little meetings with us. Brianna definitely made the whole planning process stress free and seamless and she was a delight to work with and have with us on our wedding day! She was on top of everything! Brianna definitely knows how to help make your vision perfect and oh so beautiful! The whole Marywood team made our wedding day perfect! Everyone at Marywood was so accommodating, but especially Brianna! We can't say enough about her, she was so wonderful and we are so glad she was with us on our wedding day, I don't know what we would've done without Brianna! Marywood is the perfect venue because they have the beautiful property and space, but also because they handle the reception venue, catering and bar service all with their own staff and everyone was fantastic! Everything was so perfect!! We truly had our dream wedding at Marywood!!!

The initial cost is a bit high, but it did include all the tables and chairs (including those for the reception and those for the ceremony.) Heather was so easy to work with and responsive to all our questions. The venue is immaculately clean. The bride's and groom's "getting ready" rooms are roomy and perfect. Best of all, it's a great "farmhouse/barn" wedding venue but with a great location. Easily accessible from I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road, there are many wonderful hotels nearby and things for out-of-town guests to do while in town for your big day.

We had an amazing experience with Embassy Suites St. Augustine during our wedding weekend! Many of our guests stayed at the hotel, and they were all impressed with the beautiful property, spacious rooms, and convenient location. The amenities were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We also used their conference room for bridal prep, and it was perfect—clean, spacious, and well-equipped for everything we needed. The team was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything was set up just right, which helped make the day stress-free and enjoyable. If you’re planning a wedding or any special event in St. Augustine, we highly recommend Embassy Suites. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made our weekend unforgettable!

We hosted our wedding at the River House and it was absolutely perfect! The setting was stunning—every detail of the space added to the beauty and elegance of our special day. From the ceremony to the reception, the atmosphere was magical and created unforgettable memories for us and our guests. The staff was incredible. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their organization and care allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment without stress. Our wedding at Renaissance was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Kyrstin. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and calm presence made the entire planning process stress-free. The venue itself is stunning, the staff was incredible, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful and seamless the night was. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better person to guide us through our day!

I cannot say enough good things about Crystal Ballroom St Augustine. They are not like the other CBs that we considered; absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! My husband and I looked at so many venues, (including CB Ft. Lauderdale) but every one of them were either completely out of our budget, not the esthetic we were looking for, or didn’t include anything except the space itself. We were on the verge of eloping and tried to cancel our appointment with Kat at CB St Augustine out of pure frustration. But she convinced us to come in and take a look; she promised that they were different. That was an understatement. They were EVERYTHING we wanted and needed. From the drive in, at the World Golf Village, we thought we’d never be able to afford this place. We stepped inside and were completely blown away just from the cocktail hour room. The ceremony was so beautiful and the reception was a dream come true. We loved the place so much we opted for a weekday instead of a Saturday and moved our wedding date up 6 months to take advantage of their deals to book it. Planning: Jordan reached out to us 3 months before our big day and was very involved the entire step of the way. She was so approachable, never made me feel like I was bothering her, and brought our dream wedding to life. She was also our day-of coordinator but I think she was more of a super woman! I thought I had everything planned to a T but she thought of everything that I didn’t. She would bring us things before we even asked and she made our ceremony and reception run perfectly! Staff: Shoshani and the CB St Augustine staff were so attentive. I remember standing in the reception, waiting to walk down the aisle, sad that I couldn’t see my groom walk in (I left him a surprise in the front row and wanted to know if he saw it). She went to the ceremony and recorded it for me 🥹. That type of genuine care and attention - you can’t teach that to someone. If you’re considering on having your dream wedding, this is the crème de la crème. Don’t think about it - Book CB St Augustine and Jordan! Thank me later! - Mr. & Mrs. Caswell

The venue itself is a wonderful, well-maintained space that perfectly balances elegance and charm. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were attentive to every detail, and it was clear they take pride in making each event special. The venue also offered great flexibility when it came to customizing the wedding. I had my wedding here in March 2024, Hannah and her team were nothing short of spectacular. She was patient, thorough and meticulous with helping plan our event. She had excellent suggestions for vendors as well as other special details to add to our event. The whole team was very responsive to texts and emails, which is so helpful. Our wedding day went off without any problems. The food was excellent as well. Would absolutely have our wedding here again😊

When we started searching for venues local to Gainesville, The Historic Thomas Center immediately stood out. We were having our ceremony at a Catholic church but needed a reception venue, and I’ll admit, I’m a bit greedy. I wanted indoor and outdoor space, historic architecture, character, gravitas - all at a reasonable price. The Thomas Center checked every box and then some. One of the biggest highlights of working with this venue was Dominique. She gave us an incredible tour, patiently answered every question I had, and stayed in communication with us leading up to the wedding day. She checked in multiple times, and I always felt supported and in good hands. On the day of, we had 10 hours of full access to the property, which gave our vendors plenty of time to set up and kept everything stress-free. Our cocktail hour was held in the Turtle Court, followed by dinner and dancing in the Spanish Court. The staff were friendly and had all the tables and chairs set up exactly according to our seating chart before we even arrived. And the property itself was truly perfect. The historic charm, the architecture, and the ambience made our reception feel surreal. The Thomas Center is a real Gainesville gem.
