About this venue
Castle Garden is a historic wedding venue located on Shenandoah Street in Saint Augustine, Florida, near Jacksonville and Palm Coast.
This romantic colonial modern building has a long and wonderful history!
Once the carriage house for Castle Warden (now the stunning Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum) back in the 1800's, it was carefully converted in the early 1900's into an art gallery and then bed and breakfast. In 2020, the current owners acquired the property and lovingly renovated it into the gorgeous event space and colonial-modern 7 bedroom mansion you see in the photos.
With sleeping accomodations for up to 14 guests included on site, a dedicated bridal suite/get ready space, 3 unique indoor and outdoor areas to convert into the perfect event space, tables and chairs available as well as access to our curated list of exclusive vendors (bar services, caterers, DJs, party stylists, private chefs and more), we know Castle Garden will fulfill your every hope and dream for your small wedding, vow renewal, rehearsal dinner or goodbye brunch!

A Charming Oasis in Historic St. Augustine
The accommodations were fantastic! My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, blending modern amenities with classic charm. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the peaceful view from my window. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of St. Augustine.
The location couldn't be better! Castle Garden is just a short walk to all the main attractions, including the Castillo de San Marcos, quaint shops, and delightful restaurants. I appreciated being able to immerse myself in the rich history of the area without needing to rely on transportation.

Perfect Venue
Dream Venue!
The location is incredible. Being in the heart of St. Augustine, we were surrounded by all the charm and history of the city, with beautiful views everywhere you look. The castle made for the most gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how unique it was.
The house itself was amazing. It has 7 bedrooms, so there was plenty of space for our bridal party and family. What we loved most was that 5 of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms, which made getting ready so much easier – no waiting around and everyone had their own space to prep in peace!
The host, Dani, was super responsive and helpful from start to finish. Every question we had was answered quickly, and she made sure everything went smoothly. It really took the stress out of the whole process.
If you're looking for a beautiful, easy-going place for your wedding, Castle Garden is the way to go. The location, the house, and the great host all made our wedding weekend unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
