About The Karpeles Grand
The Karpeles Grand is a 1921 Classical Revival landmark in Jacksonville’s historic Springfield neighborhood. Once a church and later a Karpeles Manuscript Museum, it has been restored as a wedding venue that keeps its historic character while adding modern comforts. Four Doric columns frame the façade, and the building overlooks Klutho Park and Hogans Creek, just minutes from downtown.
Inside, 50-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and ornate plasterwork set the scene. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 300 guests beneath chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Pearl Lounge and Emerald Mezzanine are ideal for cocktail hour, and ceremonies can be held outdoors on site.
