Evoking Art Deco chic with a modern twist, Clay Theatre is a delightful wedding venue nestled in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Once a historic movie theater, this charming building was originally built in 1937 but has been renovated so its beauty can be cherished for all kinds of celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
You and your beloved will feel like movie stars if you choose to host your "I dos" at Clay Theatre. Providing stunning ceremony and reception spaces, every element of your special day can take place in this gem, located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Begin your day in the dedicated dressing rooms. The Balcony Suite is the perfect spot to gather with your wedding party and prepare in style. With fabulous lighting, plenty of mirrors, and plush seating, your beauty moment with the glam squad will feel like a dream. Meanwhile, the Backstage Suite is a cozy chic lounge area where you can unwind before heading for the aisle. Ceremonies enjoy the stunning Courtyard backdrop. With space for up to 150 guests on white folding chairs and an integrated sound projection so everyone can hear every heartfelt word, you could not ask for more. The area can double as your cocktail hour location if you wish to watch the sunset while mingling with invitees. Take to the Main Space for your reception. You can make your grand arrival on the balcony before heading down to join 150 of your nearest and dearest. White walls and ceilings, hardwood floors, and spectacular lighting create a romantic ambiance. Then, when you want to get everyone dancing, the interactive club lighting will transform the hall into an epic boogie spot. There is also an abundance of photo opportunities across the venue, the most spectacular of all being the front entrance, where you can see your name in marquee lights. Whether you choose to create custom movie posters to display in the vintage cases or bring your guests outside for a sparkler exit, this spot is unmissable and unforgettable.
