Alec and his team were INCREDIBLE!!! From the very start Black Tie was very responsive and communicative with us. They send helpful checklists all the months leading up to the wedding with helpful tips and tricks. Alec was also super accommodating to all of our crazy ideas and making our wedding so EPIC!!! We had a large bridal party and he was the best MC as well making all of our entrances seamless and smooth. We would not have asked for a better night and better DJ team and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was! He totally knows how to read a room and get all the guests on their feet from 20 year olds to the 70 year olds everyone was dancing and having the best time ever. Our venue had some restrictions regarding noise etc due to it being outdoors and that didn’t phase Alec one bit —- you never would have known anything was different. We can’t thank Black Tie enough for the amazing work they did!

Mike from Black Tie was 100% the best DJ for our wedding reception. He was excellent at getting guests out on the dance floor. He played a great variety of music. Whether you were 40 or 80, you were dancing. Even those who said they haven't danced in a long time. He was very professional and met all our requests. Hands down we highly recommend Mike from Black Tie Entertainment.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with Alec, both during the months leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. He was incredibly responsive and enthusiastic. He went above and beyond in his role of dj by offering support in finding other vendors and answering questions unrelated to his job. He would even reach out to us every few months to check in and see if there was anything else he could do—truly above and beyond.

As far as the wedding goes, you can tell Alec truly cares about what he does. His attention to detail on the days leading up to the wedding made the wedding day go without a hitch. He also went out of his way to make my husband and I feel celebrated. The dancing part of our reception lasted a little over 2 hours. Alec had every single guest on that dance floor the entire night!! I would recommend choosing Alec 10x over! He’s seriously incredible!!!

So many people came up to my husband and I complimenting how awesome he was throughout the night. From the music played, to the engagement, to all the light fixtures. It was a dream come true.

Just worked an event with Alec and he is 10/10 worth it. As vendor myself he is very professional, very flexible, and easy to work with. He helped make sure the entire day ran smoothly with sound, MC, and during party time. As a DJ, he kept the dance floor alive and guests were very happy. The bride and groom also had a blast!

I loved using Black Tie Entertainment. We were able to use them for the DJ Tony, uplighting, and the selfie station. DJ Tony was great at reading the room and playing things accordingly. Many people danced all night, which is what I wanted. Everyone loved the selfie station. It captures still photos or mini videos. Guests put in their cell number and the videos/pictures are sent to them, as well as to me. It was a great addition that I strongly recommend.

Black Tie Entertainment, specifically Alec, absolutely blew me away for our wedding. From the get go, Alec was professional, organized, and knew his stuff. He made me feel comfortable with how his services would transition seamlessly from our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception all at various locations at our venue. Then, throughout the planning process, he checked in monthly (so sweet!) with updates and answered our questions. We also had an extensive call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the vibe / song requests, and I immediately could tell he had a feel for exactly what we wanted. I completely trusted him!

Then on the day of, he was the ultimate professional. On time, worked well with all other vendors and made us feel completely comfortable. A few stand out moments: (1) my maiden name is extremely hard to pronounce :) And I told him how important it was that he got it right. He went above and beyond to ensure he was announcing EVERY single person's name properly - this was huge!!! (2) He not only was a DJ but a wonderful emcee. He brought the energy with every announcement and made guests feel comfortable and excited about what was next. (3) Finally, for the "dancing" portion of the night - this was where Alec absolutely blew me away. He truly could read the room. When a song was hitting, he would let it play on. Truly the dance floor was PACKED all night, and we had so many people tell us how incredible our DJ was. We are so, so, so happy with Alec, and we cannot recommend him more highly!!!

Could not have picked a better DJ. Alec was so professional and easy to work with. He helped us select our music and create a timeline to ensure our day was perfect. Conner was an incredible DJ!! Our guests were dancing all night and everyone raved about how great Conner was. We truly couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!!
