Picking a wedding planner can be daunting. I interviewed probably 10 people and finally chose Renee and her team at Mariée Weddings and we could not have made a better decision throughout our entire wedding process. She was pregnant with her first child when we first met her and would have her baby during our planning process, so naturally we figured "ok, she'll probably need a break during that time". Think again - Renee was so on top of things I was amazed. Her experience in this industry has given her such great talent for putting together the most amazing events, and our 250 person ranch wedding at our private residence was no different. We literally had to build most of our venue from the ground up and she helped us multiple times with walk-through's at the site and coordinating all of our vendors (we had many!). When we had a vendor that came down with an unexpected horrible incident only weeks prior to our wedding and I was travelling, Renee worked with them to find our alternative and we were so pleased (and just grateful everyone was ok). The rehearsal went smoothly (and we're a rowdy bunch) and the wedding day went off without a hitch. She has so many tricks up her sleeves and such a great staff to support everything Mariée Weddings does that you don't even realize. Renee and the Mariee team were great! I worked with them as the day-of-coordinators, and they were very involved in my planning meetings and sessions to understand the event and offer helpful hints and tips to make my day amazing. Renee was super-responsive and organized, really on top of everything - reminding ME of things! They were a huge help pulling everything together on the wedding day, helping out in areas where we would have otherwise been under-prepared. We hired Renée for her coordination and partial planning package, and she is the BEST. She is so positive and enthusiastic, and was always supportive of our vision and budget. She recommended several of our favorite vendors, even finding us an awesome churro cart for dessert when we mentioned we were interested in one! We had a lot of non-traditional ideas, and Renée never even batted an eye at them. She was super attentive and always answered our emails and texts (sometimes so quickly I was shocked she had time to even read it before writing back). The week of the wedding Renée helped us keep our sanity by figuring out last-minute details. All of this was awesome, but hands down, having Renée and team there the day of our wedding was the BEST part. My husband and I had no responsibilities other than soaking it all in and enjoying ourselves. Renée and team handled all of the setup (including things that I found out later arrived late), managed the flow of the evening (I never knew what time it was), cleaned up everything while we were having fun and dancing, and did it all without ever showing any sign of stress. It seriously felt like the day was being run by magic. On top of everything else, her prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the region. If I have one piece of advice for people having a medium or big wedding, it is to hire a coordinator like Renée or just HIRE RENÉE!).Sent on 08/23/2016
