We cannot recommend Dish highly enough, specifically the service Alexa and Evalyn provided while planning our wedding. They were true partners and cheerleaders throughout a year-long process, helping us think through and execute every detail.

We’re huge foodies, and Alexa and the team absolutely rose to the challenge, helping us design, test, and perfect a fully custom menu. They incorporated thoughtful touches from both my partner’s and my background, resulting in a menu we were genuinely proud of and one our guests are still talking about. From Beef Wellington and mini lobster rolls to sticky toffee puddings, apple pies, and espresso martinis on the dance floor, Dish got it right and made it all happen seamlessly.

Beyond the food, the support with rentals and design choices for our venue (74 Wythe, also amazing) was invaluable. Alexa was always there to talk through our ideas honestly and help us understand what would work and what wouldn’t. When planning a wedding, you need a partner who tells it like it is, and Alexa did exactly that. For that alone, aside from everything else, we’re incredibly grateful.

The staff’s energy on the day was fantastic, dancing with our parents, leaning into the vibe of the event, and making it feel truly special. It was also worth every penny to have a Dish day-of coordinator, and we are immensely thankful for that support.

We walked into our wedding day feeling completely covered by Alexa and Dish, and we walked home afterward humbled by the care and dedication they put into making it even more special than we ever imagined. As a final and delicious touch, we even went home with a goodie bag of leftovers from our menu, an unexpected and much appreciated surprise.

From the moment we met Evalyn and her team, we knew Dish Food & Events was the company for us and our wedding. From our initial meetings all the way through until the last moments of our wedding day, they knocked it out of the park! My husband and I had a vision when planning our wedding that we wanted to incorporate both our cultures and personalities into the food and drinks we served our guests... This was not as easy as we thought it would be, mainly because of the million-and-one ideas we had. Sitting down with Evalyn helped to put all those details on a plate or in our drinks. The team came up with creative ways to present our vision to our guests that matched everything else we had in our plans, from custom passed appetizers to THE BEST SHORT RIB MOLE we had ever had, and to top it off, the service she and the team provided the day of the event was unmatched. Their attention to detail made all the special details come across all the more wonderful and enjoyable. If you need not only your wedding but also any other event, I would recommend Evalyn again and again. People always say, When you know, you know, " and from the very beginning, in meeting the team, we knew they would be the ones to execute, and execute they did. Evalyn and her team were phenomenal from the moment we sat down for the tasting. The food was amazing, their ideas and execution were even better. What really shocked us was how seamlessly they worked with all our other vendors, to make sure everything was perfect throughout our reception. Wish we could give more than 5 stars!

Evalyn, Alexa & AJ put together a delicious wedding for us. Their efforts went far beyond catering coordination. Everything from the first consultation call, to the tasting, and finally the wedding, was meticulous. Every question we had was addressed, and every change we asked for was done. We were so pleased with booking Dish for our wedding!!! Their entire team is incredibly kind and offers the highest quality of white glove service. Evalyn was amazing at capturing all of our notes and menu desires and ensuring chef and his team made adjustments and customizations as necessary… they can truly do anything (we had them mimic one of our favorite restaurant recipes)! We had tons of compliments on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were. Do not hesitate to book!!

Dish absolutely CRUSHED it at our wedding in the Upper East Side. Words cannot begin describe how appreciative we are. The team made our wedding so incredibly special and our guests absolutely raved about the food and bar. Seriously. The entire team at Dish was so core to our wedding guest experience and they made ZERO mistakes and made over ONE MILLION perfect decisions. All of the servers were key party ambassadors from start to finish, and we are so so so so so so grateful. People couldn't stop talking about how joyful and prompt the service was and how all of the servers were SO incredibly nice and helpful. We cannot say enough great things about them.

We knew that our wedding would be a great time, but still we were absolutely blown away and our expectations were alarmingly exceeded. We cannot think of enough compliments to give not just Evalyn and Ashlyn, but the ENTIRE Dish team (the chef, the prep cooks, the porters, the servers). My husband and I feel that we only saw a very small sliver of the team's very hard work and care that was put into our wedding. The results were perfect... It felt so personal, so joyful, and so professional. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of each person's care and effort.

We worked with Dish to host a cocktail party style wedding for 130 guests in Red Hook in Brooklyn. We really appreciated working with the team at DISH. Michael and Julianna guided us through a very smooth process to refine our wedding format from start to finish. They were very thoughtful with not only the food but also the coordination for our wedding. We had tray passed hor d'oeuvres from DISH which were delicious. The team was so supportive and great!

Dish was absolutely the perfect choice for our wedding. Evalyn and Kayla were absolutely wonderful, from the first email in January to the wedding in November. They both made the process such a joy and handled everything with such calmness and assurance. We knew that everything would come together perfectly. Our guests were so impressed with the food and the catering staff were fantastic- so professional and so prepared to help with anything. We are grateful for Dish for helping create the wedding of our dreams!

From the wonderful experience we had at our tasting throughout a year of communicating back and forth about menu choices and rentals, working with Dish Food Events was a pleasure ! The night of our daughter’s wedding the cocktail hour hors doevres and reception meals were delicious and plentiful. The waitstaff was very professional and all our guests said how great the food was. Michael and his team at Dish were incredible from start to finish. We are both big foodies and really wanted our guests to be able to enjoy the food at our wedding and Dish did not disappoint. In our first tasting Michael made us feel so at ease, wedding planning didn’t feel like a chore, we were able to enjoy the experience and have fun. We were accompanied to pick out our rentals and the team made us feel like we were supported throughout. The day after our wedding, so many of our guests made a point of calling out how delicious the food was. We are in awe of how Dish pulls off events on such a large scale without compromising on flavor. We could not recommend Dish as a vendor enough.
