Truly unbelievable price for what services are provided. Not only did Mimi's provide truly delicious food, but they impeccably set up our wedding venue and tore it all down at the end of the night.

People are still raving to us about the food at our wedding, and it's all thanks to Mimi's. We've been longtime Mimi's fans as we live in Ditmas Park and visit the restaurant regularly, so when we heard that they offered full-service catering that easily accommodated vegetarians (as one of us is fully veg), we were immediately drawn to them. We looked at a few other caterers, but their tastings weren't nearly as good and the prices were much, much higher. We had a tasting at Mimi's (with leftovers! What other NYC caterer will let you take the leftovers! *chef's kiss*) and were immediately sold for our Fall 2020 wedding.

Or so we thought! The pandemic had other ideas, so we made the difficult decision to postpone until 2021. Mimi's made this easy for us, moving the date while honoring our original contract and letting us reduce the guest count. This flexibility was incredible in a very stressful time. They also handled alcohol, serving up beer, wine, and a custom vodka-lemon-mint cocktail for our guests. And I can't state enough again how good the food was, with lots of dishes that worked with our guests' various preferences and allergies.

We had very few negatives with working with Mimi's, just one minor miscommunication and sometimes slow response times, but they're a busy restaurant and the food and easy-to-work-with-ness more than makes up for it. We'd use them as caterers again in a heartbeat!

Mimi's was absolutely the perfect cater for our wedding. We had a great time working and planning with the leader of Mimi's team, Wen-shuan. She was so amazing and thoughtful. Her team was completely responsible and attuned to details. They were official and willing to work with our special requests. We were impressed with how they helped us run the event so beautifully and accurately. They are excellent with time and sensitive to our needs. We totally appreciated their services and loved their food. Everything was fresh and delicious! Everyone in the team was wonderful and had such warm hospitality; we felt that our guests were well taken care of and had a great experience with the flow of the event. They were on top of everything, and we were able to really enjoy our event. We would highly recommend Mimi's to anyone who is planning a wedding or any significant event. They really come through and you will have a delightful experience.

Mimi's catering BROUGHT IT to our wedding. From the fantastic and accommodating tasting to the seamless coordination with our venue and band to the day of prep and service, I mean it was all so good. Working with Wen-shuan was such a treat. She made sure that we got what we specifically asked for while also providing advice and encouragement for other wedding details. The food day of was fresh and delicious and could be enjoyed by all our guests, even the vegans! Thoughtfulness, sincerity and love went into the prep for our wedding and it really showed.

Mimi's was perfect for our intimate wedding. Tess was accommodating and helpful when it came to helping us navigate our options given our budget. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was unique. They even helped us set up our self-catered dessert station, and put up our homemade allergy and vegan signs. At the end, they packed all the leftovers and sent us home with it. Everyone at Mimi's was so gracious and helpful. And Mimi herself came to hold down the fort! When we ran into her months later at her restaurant, she even remembered my name. Pick Mimi's if you want people who care.

Mimi and Rebecca and the catering team were fantastic! I'm still getting compliments on the quality of food and service 6 months later! They worked efficiently with my other vendors and coordinator, and I would not hesitate to hire them again. My guests with stricter diets (gluten-free and vegan) had no problem in getting enough to eat.

Super easy to work with and the food was absolutely amazing. The whole staff was very courteous to our friends and family. Mimi's is a very professional operation - they got the job done without any complications, the food was beyond expectation, and the price was a great value. We highly recommend.

Our event was a wedding, with passed food during a cocktail hour, and family style dinner served by staff.

We already loved Mimi's Hummus in Ditmas Park so when we were looking for a nontraditional caterer for our Brooklyn wedding (ie someone with amazing food who we could actually afford to hire), I added them to our list. After meeting with Mimi and Becca one time, and having a tasting that we will probably never stop talking about, we decided to sign a contract without even meeting a few of the other caterers we were interested in. We made this decision based on the excellent quality of the food, the beautiful presentation pictures we saw, and most importantly, the amazing level of professionalism and flexibility we found. Mimi's Catering took every one of our requests seriously, they were constantly in touch and available throughout the wedding planning process, and rather than telling us how much we had to spend, looked at our budget and said "here's what we can do, and this is why it will be special."

I cannot say enough good things about them leading up to the wedding, but their level of service at the actual event blew that experience away. The food was phenomenal (we've had so many people tell us how great dinner was and "wow, I've never had good food at a wedding before" and ask for the address so they could visit the restaurant!), all of the servers were great, and Becca who was the event manager went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We were able to really enjoy our wedding because we knew right away that our guests were being taken care of.

All of the guests at our wedding raved about the food, provided by Mimi's hummus. They were extremely diligent with the service and the family style kofta, chicken shawarma, and vegetarian ratatouille worked great for us. We also loved that the cuisine was a nod to both of our cultures (Egyptian and Jewish) and felt special and unlike other wedding food that guests have no doubt been served during this very busy wedding season. And they are much more affordable than a lot of options you'll see in NYC. Definitely recommend!
