She was incredibly collaborative and supportive during the entire process, and the vendors she brought on were absolutely fantastic. Kristin has incredible taste and helped us put together an elegant event that exceeded my wildest expectations. We were lucky enough to have both Kristin and Lauren on site for our big day, and our family and friends continually came up to us commenting on how wonderful they both are. As the Father of the most beautiful bride on the face of the earth, I anxiously awaited the wedding date hopeful that all would work out just as she and her handsome husband to be, David Stockel, desired. It would be a magnificent affair not only because of the church ( St. Ignatius Loyola) or the venue selected (Capitale), but because this was a couple madly in love, surrounded by beautiful friends, families and yes, the best event planning firm in New York, Bellafare.
I mention Bellafare because in case you might have forgotten, Hurricane Sandy showed up on our doorstep the Monday prior to the "Big Day." We were fortunate to be working with Lauren, one of the two partners at Bellafare (Kristin is the other), who kept her emotions in check and did an absolutely superb job in getting us through the process. Poised, confident and in total control of the situation, Lauren kept us apprised of everything that was going on, including roadblocks that were surfacing everywhere due to no one's fault because of the situation. But the beauty about Bellafare is that, although you may be confronted with a problem, they always have a solution to help you get through this. Very much of a consultative type of relationship, yet very results oriented.
No one will ever forget the massive destruction that Hurricane Sandy caused so many people that week, and the months beyond. Yet a wedding took place because of the extraordinary poise and professionalism of the team at Bellafare.

Kristin and Lauren were absolutely incredible to work with -- I had meetings set up with a few other planners, but cancelled them all after my meeting with Bellafare. We made the deal on the spot. They were stylish and professional, and I knew they would help make my vision (which was pretty specific) come to fruition. And they did -- our wedding was more than I ever imagined it could be.

After the thrill of being engaged settles down, I think most brides get overwhelmed with just how many decisions have to be made, no matter what size or style wedding you plan to have. Kristin and Lauren kept me right on track. They kind of made it a no-brainer, and when the time came, pointed me toward fantastic vendors who were a complete dream to work with. They made planning my wedding FUN, which it should be, instead of stressful, as it so often can be. They were responsive and helpful over the course of the entire year, and as a bride whose family lives 2,000 miles away, I felt way less alone in the entire process than I would have otherwise. They were there for every step, for every meeting, and for every question or neurotic email.

It also deserves mention that I got married 2 weeks after Hurricane Sandy. Bellafare had weddings that immediate weekend after (which they pulled off) but nevertheless, were right there to help me through the reorganizing and reconfirming in the wake of the storm. On the day of, they handled absolutely everything -- I have NO idea how I would have done it without them. I was able to hang out with my family and friends and enjoy the day, while they made the magic happen.

Kristin and Lauren have fantastic taste, wonderful industry insight and wedding expertise, and are genuinely just fantastic people to be around and work with. I would recommend them to ANY bride in NYC!

Bellafare was our secret weapon throughout the wedding planning process – from incredible vendor recommendations to unparalleled attention to detail to poise under unforeseen circumstance – they truly were a dream to work with throughout the entire process. Kristin and Lauren always went the extra mile to ensure that our wedding day would be perfect and it was in large part to them! In the month prior to the wedding, they were constantly in contact with me, and our various vendors to ensure that all timelines and details were communicated. We had an outdoor tented wedding which required many moving parts. Everything was executed perfectly and it was heaven to not be stressed those days leading up to the wedding.

I had a 4 month engagement, further complicated by the fact that I'd just moved to San Francisco but was getting married back in NYC. I couldn't have done it without Lauren and Kristin! They took everything off my hands one month before the wedding, seamlessly managing all contracts, handling meetings I couldn't attend, even finding an amazing replacement florist when ours cancelled 3 weeks prior to the wedding. They are both true professionals, detail-oriented and incredibly helpful...and also really fun! I felt absolutely confident that they understood what I wanted and would help me make it happen. When the day came, I had a beautiful ceremony and reception and was able to just relax and enjoy it with my family and friends.

Wow, where do I begin? I really could go on and on about how amazing my experience was working with Kristin and Lauren at Bellafare for my wedding. They were extremely personable and professional from day one. I could tell they understood exactly what I was looking for in the theme for my wedding and their enthusiasm made me look forward to the big day even more. When the wedding was about 4 weeks away, Lauren and Kristin took a huge weight off my shoulders and began coordinating and putting together the perfect schedule. They had so many creative ideas in how to pull off my “summer fun/NYC ” themed wedding at a winery in Virginia. I am a perfectionist and needed to work with event planners who understood how important every little detail is on your wedding day. They 100% delivered and I was blown away at how perfect everything looked at the wedding. I have since received so many compliments from guest at the wedding at how incredible everything looked. I would work with Lauren and Kristin again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them if you are looking to pull off a flawless event!

Lauren and Kristin did a fantastic job helping me make my dream wedding a reality. They have impeccable taste and were always available to take my calls and answer my emails to help with the many decisions that had to be made leading up to the big day. They sent me useful tools to use throughout the planning process from must-take photo lists to budgets, seating charts and check-off sheets. They kept me on track and alleviated much of the day-of stress. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!

Bellafare was fantastic in coordinating all major and minor details for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. Not only were Lauren and Kristin meticulous, but they were also professional and friendly. From the flowers to the food, Bellafare worked the ins and outs to make sure everything ran smoothly. Both women are extremenly knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with other vendors, which was a huge help as well. Lauren and Kristin know just how things should be done and I've never felt so comfortable in letting others run the show for me. I was without a doubt a stress free bride on my wedding weekend and my husband feels the same. We did not have to worry about anything not getting accomplished. If we had any questions regarding timing, placement, etc. Bellafare quickly was there with a response. Lauren and Kristin are just simply wonderful to work with and I can't thank them enough for everything!

They both have the perfect blend of knowing how to professionally organize a wedding, and understand all the details and logistics of what a wedding entails; but also being able to capture the creative asthetic and the overall vision and design of the event. They are organized, creative, and a joy to work with in every way. They listened to what kind of event we wanted, but also added helpful advice and ideas that made our wedding even more perfect and enjoyable. They listened to the size of our budget, and helped us not over spend. They were quick to respnd to all our planning; every email and phone call was responded to instantly.
