Jane and Mike Shauk of Iris Photography are the best of the best! We just used them for the second time at my younger daughter's wedding in Montauk, NY and they went above and beyond to capture every special moment of the weekend! We had to adjust our plans at the last minute because of unexpected weather issues and Jane and Mike accommodated us at every turn. They came early on Friday to shoot the bride and groom at an outdoor location that was not going to be an option on Saturday. They visited the indoor site in advance to locate the best locations and backgrounds for all the formal shots. Jane and Mike are both delightful to work with, easy to communicate with and best of all, capture beautiful images. Their work is impressive and memorable. We will cherish their photographs for years to come!

Throughout the process -- initial contact, planning and prep, and execution -- IRIS was first class in every way. Mike was gracious in allowing a friend of ours to video the proceedings, he was amenable to our requests and suggestions while taking the formal pictures, and he was unobtrusive while taking shots throughout the reception. It seemed like every time a group of friends or family got together, Mike was there to document it. Even on the dance floor.

Is it normal to want to be good friends with your photographer once the event is over? The other part of Mike's service was his attitude -- upbeat, friendly, positive, encouraging, and helpful. Brianna and I can't recommend IRIS more highly.

Jane was my photographer this past June at my wedding in Farmington, CT. She is a true delight to work with. She is very talented and does beautiful work. She is responsive and accommodating. She managed to get spectacular shots even with our very large wedding parties (including babies/toddlers) running around. She was so patient! I highly recommend her for any photographic needs.

Jane & Michael Shauck, the husband & wife team of Iris Photography was one of our favorite vendors. They are great people as well as incredibly talented photographers. Oh and the cost we listed included 8 hrs with 2 photographers on our wedding day, an engagement session, a proof magazine of every picture taken, and a large photo album (one of the really nice Queensbury ones) with 75 photos and some other stuff. All packages do not run that high and they will work within your budget.
