Alimay Events and Productions made wedding planning easy, fun, and exciting! They sorted through all of the vendors, set up our appointments, negotiated prices, and facilitated our meetings. Alimay was constantly on call for all of our questions, extremely flexible, helped us bring our vision to reality (along with their own innovative ideas), and were such a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough about Maya and Ali of Alimay Events. They without a doubt saved the day for my husband and I. We had a destination wedding and I knew I needed the help of a wedding planner to make sure no detail was overlooked. We were originally working with a different wedding planner and made the switch to Alimay four months into planning. What a difference it was! From day one I felt like I was working with friends who understood our taste, were sensitive to our budget and, equally important, were able to balance our parents’ desires with our own. Maya and Ali knew all the best vendors, including local vendors who were in tune with our NY style.

Alison and Maya, partners at Alimay Events, were both an absolute dream to work with. From our initial meeting through today (we're still in touch!) they've been the perfect balance of friendly, approachable, experienced and professional. Right from the get-go I felt like they got me and my aesthetic and overall vision for our wedding, and what I wanted, and also, importantly, the price range we were working within. They suggested ideas, but perhaps more importantly, they listened. The had a great roster of vendors (graphic design, lighting, bakery, etc.) that enhanced everything we did. They were also always on schedule and responsive.
