We could not be happier we went with City and Terrace!  As a couple with very hectic schedules, we knew our full-service wedding planner would be one of the most important choices we’d make. We interviewed more than a dozen planners to find someone who could help us establish a unique vision for our big day and also execute on it – all while keeping us on track despite our busy work lives.

We had a wedding that was highly personalized, unconventional in many ways, and demanding in terms of timelines, details, and aesthetics. Here are some ways the City & Terrace team went above & beyond to make our vision come to life:
- Provided us with multiple scenarios & projected costs to consider in how to run reception since we were unconventionally catering from an independent restaurant that doesn't have wedding catering expertise.
- Sourced Chinese porcelain tea jars from an independent supplier in Brooklyn to accomplish our very niche aesthetic demands.
- Pulled a lot of strings with other vendors to buy us extra time and opportunities to see and review our tablescape design.
- Our wedding day schedule was very tight with multiple activities planned down to the minute. Lauren always gave honest feedback and made sure to accommodate our requests to the best of her abilities.

The City & Terrace team also did a great job in managing all of the cultural elements (Chinese & Cambodian) of our wedding that were new to them. Highly recommend City & Terrace for your next big event!

Let me start by saying my wedding was a tall order! I wanted a wedding that was gothic, elegant, Victorian-inspired, dark, and moody. We were going for gothic without it being “scare grandma” gothic! And to make it a step harder, our wedding was in a very modern looking building in Manhattan. And to make it even one step harder, my husband and I are based in Ireland.

Lauren from City and Terrace completely understood my vision and designed the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. We had so many friends and family approach us about how beautiful the decor was, and even multiple members of staff and various vendors saying they have never seen the venue look so amazing.

Lauren was so organised throughout the entire wedding planning process. She helped us look for the best vendors, she went to view different tablecloth landscapes and furniture when we couldn’t (again, we live abroad!) and kept me up to date every step of the way.

I have recommended Lauren multiple times to newly engaged friends, and will continue to recommend City and Terrace in the future!
