Highly recommend Bon Soir Caterers!

We had a fantastic experience with Jeff and his team at Bon Soir Caterers for our wedding at the Picnic House. First off, Jeff knows the Picnic House like the back of his hand so he was super helpful to us in the planning process. His pricing is also super transparent and he made sure we were saving money where possible while not skimping on anything important. And then as far as the food, everything came out tasting great and we got tons of compliments from our guests on the food. They also appreciated the large portion sizes! We highly recommend working with Bon Soir Caterers.

Bon Soir = in good hands

Working with Jeff at Bon Soir was easy and professional, and the food came for our guests came out looking and tasting great -- and, very important to my dad, plentiful! We wanted to work with Bon Soir because we knew they KNEW had to make weddings work at the Picnic House, and it all went super smoothly. We never felt like we needed to worry much because we were in good hands.

Bon Soir Caterers Was Everything We Wished For

We had initially found Bon Soir through our venue, as they were one of only several caterers allowed to work at the location. Turns out, it was easily the best decision we made in regards to our wedding.

From the beginning up to the day of, everything was an amazing experience. Jeff Riley is a great guy and runs an incredible team. His immense experience helped us tremendously getting what is admittedly a chaotic experience for everyone involved to run as smoothly as possible. Everyone we worked with throughout the process was courteous, attentive, and showed the utmost professionalism. The chefs did an incredible job, leaving all our guests blown away by the food.

We have absolutely zero reservations about wholeheartedly recommending Bon Soir to anyone looking for catering to an event.

Call Jeff and you will be a happy bride!

Jeff and his staffs were amazing! They went above and beyond made sure everything was perfect for our wedding. They also helped with venue selection, rentals, alcohol and floorpan and made our wedding planning so much easier . The food was beyond delicious and the presentation was wonderful. Jeff's staffs were professional and quick, our guests truly loved their services.

BonSoir Caterers

Our only daughter’s wedding was one of our and her major life events. Jeff and his staff made it memorable and kept it at high point for all good reasons. Jeff’s many years of experience helped us to make excellent decisions. He was always available for any anxious re-question and led us to a beautiful evening. The food, bar and service were superb. We received constant compliments on food, flow, service all night. Many experienced consumers even called it “best wedding ever”! Jeff, his staff and food played huge role us achieving this!!!

Jeff is the best!

Jeff and his team were terrific. We were working on a tight budget and he was extremely accommodating, honest, and made sure we had terrific food at a price we could afford. He's a total pro with decades of experience and we felt like we were in excellent hands throughout the entire process. His team on the day of the wedding was also extremely helpful, professional, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The Real Deal

Jeff and the entire team at Bon Soir Caterers are the real deal seasoned players. We chose them to cater our wedding at the Prospect Park Picnic House this past October over any of the other preferred caterers because of their excellent communication, glowing reviews and renowned expertise. And we wouldn't have had it any other way. From their professionalism, experience, attention to detail and warm hospitality, Jeff helped make our wedding day one of the best days of our lives. My husband is a chef and I am a caterer so we know how much hard work goes into putting together an event like this and food is incredibly important to us. Jeff's passion, humor and expertise left us feeling confident we wouldn't have to worry about a thing, and it was true. He is a gem! Their adherence to safety protocols helped make us feel very safe. Even when there were some hiccups like things not showing up on time, we had absolutely no idea because Jeff took care of everything. They really went above and beyond. The presentation, the food, the guidance in the entire planning and production of the day was made so easy because of Bon Soir. The event staff were fantastic, upbeat and professional, and if you are lucky enough to have the Bon Soir team cater your event please show your gratitude through smiles and generous tips because they truly go above and beyond. This business can be grueling work and Jeff is not only an exceptional caterer but he absolutely loves what he does and that love and care really shines through. Our wedding guests are still calling us to rave about how delicious the food was and how it was one of the best parties they have ever been to in their lives! That was one heck of a party! Thank you Bon Soir!

Great caterer for weddings

Jeff and his team did a fantastic job catering our event and I can't recommend them highly enough. The food and service was phenomenal and so many of our guests told us how fantastic their meal was, especially the pies we had in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. If you need a caterer, look no further than Bon Soir!

Best Food I've Ever Had at a Wedding

The food and day-of service provided by Bon Soir at our wedding was nothing short of amazing. We had our wedding at Greenpoint Loft in August 2021 – and were really impressed by how well the food reflected our experience at the tasting (braised short rib for the win!) – I’ve been to a number of weddings over the years and I’m proud to say our food ranked as one of the best dining experiences when compared to other weddings. Drink service was also a real hit. When planning our wedding, we were interested in having an extensive cocktail list at our wedding and Jeff and his team made it happen – making everything from martinis to palomas – tracking down hard to find ingredients and making fresh simple syrup for the reception. It was also nice working with a vendor who remained conscious of price – and steered us towards options within our budget, but of the best quality. Seriously – if you want people to remember your wedding food in a positive way – go with these guys, you won’t be disappointed.

Guest are raving!

Bon Soir caterers was amazing. Jeff was so helpful and flexible and made the stressful planning process so much easier. My guest are still raving about the food! Dinner was amazing but the guest especially loved the passed appetizers and the desserts that were offered after the cake cutting. I would highly recommend Bon Soir!
