We held our reception at the Edelweiss Penthouse on the 43rd floor. You can't bet the view from there. You can see the lake on one side and downtown on the other because of the way the building is layout. First of all, you will get the free fireworks on navy pier around 9pm, about the starting time for the dance floor. This draws people away from the table!! Secondly, the staff makes you feel so welcome!! I really appreciate that. Swiss is a fancy hotel. If you walk in there with ripped jean and flannel shirt, they would treat you the same as if you were wearing suit and tie. Lastly, I have to say, there food blows your mind!! They were awesome!!

The Swissotel was the perfect location for my wedding reception. The view was unbeatable. Once Mr. Tanzil took over as my main contact (the previous employee was let go) things ran smoothly and tasks were accomplished in a timely fashion. The food was superb, and the staff was curtious and attentive to not just myself (Bride) but all my guests. Mr. Tanzil was flexible in negotiating unique requests for my wedding as well as following through with promises made. There is no need for a wedding planner with such a full service, competent, proffessional staff.

Our wedding in the Edelweiss Penthouse of the Swissotel was magnificent! From the views, to the fantastic food to the unbelievable service- everything was perfect! I can't say enough about the director of catering, Phil Pessin, as well as the service staff. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. All of my friends and family raved about the venue and the service as well- we were very proud to have had such a gorgeous and well-orchestrated event. Thank you Phil and Swissotel for making my wedding a spectacular event!

Because of the quick thinking, incredible planning, time and energy that Phil Pessin put into our wedding, everything was perfect! He was always available to answer questions or solve problems. On our wedding day, Phil was around throughout to check in, congratulate and run the show. The staff knew exactly what to do and when to do it. The reception ran flawlessly, despite a few quick changes on our part. It was a beautiful wedding, with gorgeous views, fabulous service and terrific memories. Thanks!!

Daniel Jack, at Swissotel Chicago, went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch. He was responsive and thoughtful. His entire team did a great job. Everything was beautiful and we spent the night having fun, not worrying about the details.

It is a beautiful space, and there were so many people making sure that everything ran smoothly. We're happy we chose this location. Excellent view of the city/lake.

Phil Pessin is amazing. He was willing to work with us on all levels to create the wedding of our dreams. We opted for a less traditional wedding and only had a cocktail reception with heavy horsdevours and cocktails. We had out wedding on the 43rd floor penthouse which over looked Navy Pier and the Chicago skyline, it was just gorgeous.

Although expensive, totally worth it. we got a gorgeous room with a big bath tub, which helps after you've been dancing all night. The view from the hotel is amazing. it was all just incredibly romantic. i'm glad we splurged on the wedding night.
