Thea was excellent to work with. She made our wedding cake exactly as I had envisioned it. It was beautiful and tasted very good too. I would recommend finding a picture of what you want, or pictures of details you want. This really helped Thea get it exactly right!

Had the best experience with Thea from The Perfect Day Cakes. She had lots of great ideas and really listened to what we wanted in a wedding cake, including two different flavors for the same price! (Husband I aren't cake-flavor compatible :))
As soon as she sketched up our prototype we knew our cake would be exactly what we wanted, and it was beautiful!
Also I really wanted to work with a smallocal business rather than a chain or a grocery store, SO glad we were able to find someone in Owatonna!
Our cakes were lemon with mixed berry filling ( Thea was VERY flexible with flavors!) and a chocolate cake with caramel filling, and both were by far the most delicious cake I've ever had!

Can't say enough good things about our experience! Our cake was o e of very few things that was flawless on our wedding day!

My husband and I wanted cheesecake but I wasn't sure all of our guests would like that so I decided to do half cheesecake and half traditional wedding cake. But then I was worried because I didn't want my cakes to look different. Thea made it all perfect, you couldn't tell the cheesecake from the traditional cake on the outside, and they tasted wonderful!

We decided on a small traditional cake for the head table, which was outstanding and then for the dessert table we had cupcakes and apple pies, since it was the fall.
