We chose Queen of Cakes for our wedding dessert after trying their vegan chocolate cake at a friend’s wedding (it was delicious by normal cake standards, not to mention vegan!).

They were very friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process; their wedding cake trial is affordable and convenient, and so is ordering and pick-up. We got filled sheet cakes of the vanilla with tripleberry mousse, chocolate with amaretto mousse, and vegan chocolate with raspberry, and a two-tier chocolate with chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache. (The last flavor was suggested by Terry when I asked her for the “chocolatest” flavor, and I am so grateful!) My friend picked them up from the shop on the day of the wedding, which was also so easy.

Our only mix-up was that the chocolate amaretto sheet cake was “lost” by our catering team who cut it and served it, and potentially grouped it with the vegan cake on the dessert table. I don’t know what the labels on the cakes looked like, but I wanted to let you know of the mix-up we had so you can consider it in future packaging/labeling decisions!

Beyond that snafu, though: every flavor was delicious, we got so many compliments, and the servings are generous. Thank you! You truly are the Queen!

Queens of cakes has the best customer service and sweetest staff. The cake ended up exactly how I described and it was so yummy.

Obviously the cake needs to taste amazing and look great, and this cake was 100% that. We loved that we easily determined which flavors we loved at our tasting and the entire selection process was enjoyable and efficient. Terri is amazing. She sat down with my mother and I and allowed us to sample all of the cake flavors. She listened to our ideas and drew them up as we spoke. She gave us a quote and even allowed us to let our imaginations soar. She is willing to try new things just to allow you to get the look you desire. Very approachable, very reasonable and so knowledgeable.

It was delicious and they were able to take the pictures I sent and make them into a reality. Beautiful.

We LOVED our cake! We had a smaller tired cake for the cake cutting photos and then ordered 3 different flavors of sheet cake for the wedding guests. Our special cake was exactly as we wanted and we couldn’t be happier! Our guests loved that we had different options to choose from. And having Queen of Cakes deliver the cakes on the day of our wedding was nice to have one less thing to worry about! The cakes were all very delicious, we have some leftovers and have been enjoying it all week! We highly recommend Queen of Cakes!!

The cake was amazing, the folks that run this shop are the best in the business. We had a ton of comments on how great the cake was. We had looked at a ton of different shops and tasted multiple places. Don't let the size of this bakery fool you, the make the BEST cake in the twin cites!!!!!

Queen of Cakes made our wedding cake and we would highly recommend them--they make the best cake and they have the best customer service! From the cake tasting to the day of the wedding, they were so helpful and friendly. You won't find better cake, better service, or better prices!
