Lancer catering did a great job for our wedding at Como Lakeside Pavillion. Lyndsey was easy and fun to work with. On the day of everything was like we talked about and the food and drinks were great. All the staff there was so wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone!

The Little Piggy provided German-style food for an Oktoberfest-themed event that was part of our wedding weekend in Northern Minnesota. The food was delicious and met with rave reviews from our guests - highlights included the brats, pretzels, spaetzle, red cabbage, German potato salad, and more. Cory and his team were friendly, easy to work with, and executed strongly on the day. We would highly recommend them for any event.

I have worked with so many caterers in my time working in events and Marna's will always be in my top list of favorites for a few different reasons: Quality, Value, Communication, Kindness and Collaboration. It is incredibly important to have a partner that you can lean on and trust to take care of your clients and make sure guests are happy and have full bellies. And that is Marnas to a T!

We had the absolute best experience with this pizza truck at one of our couple’s bonfire events! The setup was seamless, the team was friendly and professional, and the pizzas were a huge hit with every guest. Fresh, delicious, and made to order. guests couldn’t stop raving about it!!! Highly recommend them for weddings, welcome parties, bonfires, or any event where you want great food and great energy. We’d love to work with them again!

We had Black Woods as the caterers for our wedding this past December, and it was definitely an amazing experience! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state, but Molly made it so easy to plan over the phone/email and was willing to meet up with us in person a few times when we traveled to Duluth during the planning process. The food was absolutely AMAZING from the appetizers to the main course, and we had so many wonderful comments from our guests about the quality and food selection. Several guests even told us that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. I would recommend Black Woods without hesitation to anyone considering getting married in the Twin Ports area!

The spread was absolutely beautiful, and there were so many items to pair together. The ingredients were high quality, and most importantly tasty!

I have been a meetings, events and catering manager for over 20 years, so to say that I had high expectations of my second wedding is an understatement. The thing is, I didn’t want to stress about it. I wanted it to be fun, relaxed, beautiful, run smoothly and allow me to be present without running around and doing everything. I didn’t want to be a Bridezilla. Coming from the industry, I knew that the only way to make something run smoothly is to work with vendors who can be your partners, and you can trust to take your vision and execute it without micromanagement. Apples to Apples Catering was probably the second thing people talked about after they mentioned the venue. People were so impressed with the food. The amount of food, the flavors, the quality and the presentation. Coming from a catering background, I couldn’t have bad food, or not enough. We had plenty of food. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Corey, our Sales Manager, worked with us when we realized that one of our guests had a dairy allergy. Noticing that literally everything on our menu had some type of dairy in it, we worked to make sure she had a plated meal just for her. They even worked with me to do Walking Tacos for the kids. Kids and weddings are not easy, so why make the parents have to fight to find something they will eat.

If there is one thing literally everyone at our wedding commented on, it was our food from Donatelli’s. We and all of our guests loved it so much from the cajun tortellini to the late night mac and cheese, it was delicious and perfect. I cannot thank Trish enough for answering every single one of my questions-in which there were many! She was always so professional and given their experience they knew exactly how to handle it. We were impressed both by the professional presentation and how well the buffet was executed with more than enough food for everyone to get 2nd and 3rds-which we were told by many of our guests they did. The #1 thing on my wedding “want" list was good food, and man did Donatelli’s deliver! We cannot thank the whole crew enough for making it so smooth and taste so great. We look forward to many return trips to the restaurant in the future to enjoy their food!
