Something Sweet by Maddie LU stepped in and at last-minute, created us three cakes, all tiered with individual flavor combinations and frosting decor techniques. They delivered on time and created custom toppers that matched our tattoos. Everyone complimented the cake's appearance and flavor!

Laurie was the person I communicated with when I originally reached out after our first vendor fell through at the last minute. Not only did they step in late into planning, but they executed my vision better than I could imagine! From sketches exchanged to final execution, it was beautifully done, all the details and more were included!

I have been a huge fan of Maddie for many years and KNEW we would want her to make our wedding cake. The process for booking, cake tasting, and delivery went super smooth and I absolutely adore how our cake turned out.

The cake was absolutely amazing! We also had French Macarons that were the best I’ve ever had. Communication was also extremely easy and they made our vision come to life!

Hi, we used this bakery for our wedding. It was a hard choice but before booking we had been watching a cake decorating show on tv and that's how we found this bakery. They were in the competition and we just loved what was made. We went in for the trial run and loved how easy the process was. We had a full layout of cupcakes, macaroons, a tier cake and cake pops. The worker who helped us developed a color scheme and we loved it!! Day of the delivery was smooth. It was a quick set up and drop off. Couldn't have been any happier with how it went!

We had such a great experience. They made things super easy . They came out to St.Croix falls to deliver it. We had so many complements on the cake and had many people ask where we got it from. It was so delicious. I would highly recommend something sweet for any occasion!

We decided to have a small 2 tier cake for us to cut into and to save the top layer for our anniversary. Something Sweet helped us come up with ways to keep within our budget so we could have amazing cake that didn't break the bank. We ended up ordering 2 half sheet cakes to go along with the two tier cake in both cookie dough (yes, there's edible cookie dough in there!) and lemon cake. Everyone was asking where we got it and it was a huge hit!

My husband and I decided we wanted a cake a few month out from the wedding date. We had looked at a couple of vendors, but really weren't impressed. We finally found Something Sweet, and knew they were the ones we wanted to go with. They had beautiful pictures of past cakes they had done on their wall, and once we did the taste test, we were sold! We got a 3 tiered cake, with white wedding, pumpkin pie, and snickerdoodle. It was delicious. They made is just the way I wanted, it looked beautiful, and they delivered it when they said they would. I would highly recommend them, they were a pleasure to work with. :)

I can't stop thinking about our cake! It was plain vanilla, but like, the BEST cake and icing with so much flavor and perfect texture! Absolutely stunning, 3-tier, kind of simple frosting technique (I forget what it's called), which we added fresh flowers and a topper to. Totally my vision, and I think we only had to show a few pictures! We also did a big dessert spread with a variety of cake pops, truffles, mini cream puffs, brownie bites... our guests could not stop talking about the pistachio cake pops and Bailey's truffles! My only regret is I didn't get to try everything ;) Getting our cake plus all of our desserts, including delivery and set up was an amazing deal. We had fun at the tasting, too! Thank you so much!!!

I ordered the Very Vanilla and Chocolate Lover cupcakes for my wedding this past November and everyone loved them. They were great to work with and the pricing is pretty reasonable (no more or less than most other bakeries I looked at). I'm even thinking about going through them to customize an 80th birthday cake for my grandma next year. They delivered the cupcakes to my venue right on time. I highly recommend them!

We hired Something Sweet for our wedding cake & macaron tower for our wedding in minneapolis in October 2016. My mom always judges parties by the cake & initially we were only going to do macarons but she insisted. So being Coon Rapids natives & had visited Something Sweet numerous times it was no question where to go! And they were phenomenal! So patient & willing to do everything necessary to make it a perfect experience. The cake & macarons were gorgeous & absolutely delicious! Our guests raved about the cake & it was gone in the blink of an eye... literally! Everyone was also obsessed with the macarons even the kids (we caught our niece with a handful & she ate every one!). The macarons were vibrant colors matching the color pallet we submitted perfectly. People still haven't stopped complementing our desserts & it's been nearly a month! And everything was very reasonably priced. Delivery went off without a hitch! We'd recommend this bakery to everyone & we have been! Here's one of our guests photos! Unreal!
