We cake tasted at 4 bakeries and decided that Denny's 5th Ave had the best cake. Mindy was the person who helped us. She was very nice, helpful, and responsive to our requests in deciding on a filling. She also had good suggestions for size, shape, and decoration. We had many positive comments about the cake from guests. We loved the cake. I would recommend Denny's 5th Avenue to any couple.

We had cupcakes made for our wedding from Denny's Bakery. No...it is not the cheap Denny's Restaurant everyone is familiar with :-) The cupcakes were delicious and it was totally hassle free. Ordered them on the phone a few weeks before, and they were ready and waiting when my mother-in-law went to pick them up. They were even able to do a gluten-free option too! They also do wedding cakes and cake testing and the whole deal, but I was looking for simple, hassle free and delicious! Filled that need for us perfectly!

Dennys is a mostly a bakery in Bloomington, MN that sells amazing pastries and doughnuts. They have a small cake area around the back of the building, that is absolutely adorable to go into. Eric is the owner who helped us pick out and put our cake together. We had no idea what we wanted but he was able to help us with everything. The cake itself is delicious! I had so many compliments that our cake was so fresh and tasted so good. We were told that our cake was the biggest they had ever made. It looked amazing! Everyone is extremely nice and always helpful. We were so happy they were able to make the cake that we wanted and very appreciated they helped us on our special day!

Denny's provided our cake for our wedding and the service and quality was excellent! We went in without an appointment and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. Thank you for the wonderful service. Cant wait too get that anniversary cake =)

We wanted to do cupcakes for our wedding and love Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery! Finding out that they had a new cake division "Fifth Ave Cakes" we tried them out. Fun cake tasting session, relaxed yet professional. Had to add an additional number of cupcakes a week before the wedding and it was no problem! Very easy to work with and the cupcakes were awesome!

The woman that helped us select our cake was very friendly, we got a beautiful cake for a very reasonable price, they were wonderful about delivering it on time and to the right location (the drop-off point was a little hard to find). The cake was really yummy and, rather than making us freeze the top layer, they'll give us a free round cake on our one year anniversary. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

We chose to do a non-traditional wedding cake (banana cake with buttercream frosting) and the staff at 5th Avenue Cakes was great! The cake they provided us was beyond what I could have asked for! Plus the give you a free cake (smaller version of your wedding cake) for your 1 year anniversary!

BUTTER CREAM NIRVANA!!!!That is what I will say. I had a 3 tier cake. 6 inch, 8 inch and a 10 inch. A layer was white cake the next was chocolate and the bottom was marble. It was SO yummy! Everyone LOVED LOVED the taste. The cake itself lasted a LONG time. Our wedding was Aug, 3rd I had people eating the cake on the 7th and 8th and the cake was still moist and so good. My coworkers ate it on those days and they loved it and had not even thought about it being 4 days old. lol Super good. and it was simple and beautiful just as I liked it to be.

So very tasty! We had a complimentary cake tasting, where we were able to test various cake flavors as well as five filling flavors- they were ALL delicious. We ordered a three tier cake (all 3 tiers were different cake/filling combinations), as well as a filled sheet cake. Sent photos of my design preference to them and the final product looked great! They did have a small issue with not giving us a contract at our tasting, and didn’t ever contact us again afterwards to finalize details or give us the contract, but I think the consultant who messed this up is no longer with them. We contacted them ourselves and everything from then on went great! Guests (and us) thought the cake was delicious!
