Wedding Cakes in Duluth

The cake turned out great. It was beautiful and delicious!

Our experience with The Exchange was wonderful. The service was great and the cake was delicious. We decided on four half sheet cakes, each with a different flavor because all of the cakes we tried at our tasting were so good. We also did a small two tiered cake for pictures and cutting. We received many compliments on how good the cake was and our guests enjoyed having the variety of flavors to choose from.

This is the best cake ever!!! Lila made a gorgeous cake for our wedding that was exactly what we asked for. Neither my husband nor I are huge cake people usually, but this cake and cupcakes were the best we've ever had. We did almond, lavender, angel food, and chocolate cupcakes as well. We have had many guests reach out to us about how delicious they were. A few of my friends had warned me before the wedding that we would have lots of leftover cupcakes/cake, but we didn't have one single one. Meagan and her team were a godsend. I have recommended them to everyone, they gave us great money saving tips for a classy reception and we have received nothing but compliments. Everything ran smoothly and we wouldn't change a thing!

Gretchen of Patty Cake Bakery was another awesome vendor we had!!! We met with her for a tasting and had such a hard time choosing flavors! They were all so good! We ended up choosing five different flavors of sheet cakes and then just a small 2 tier cutting cake for us. I had a picture of an idea for the tiered cake that I had seen at a bridal expo. Gretchen took that picture and practiced the design we were looking for, she sent us about a dozen pictures until we found the one we loved! She truly did an amazing job and we loved how the cake turned out!!! Not to mention they tasted even better than they looked!

We loved our experience with Johnson bakery, from the tasting during which baker Scott really made us feel comfortable, to receiving the cake on our wedding day. It was exactly as hoped! Pricing was the best in Duluth that we found. Thanks!!

From outreach to planning to tasting to end product...wow! It was all around an awesome experience. The cake was so delicious...and beautiful! Days later...people are still talking about the cake!
