Our experience with The Exchange was wonderful. The service was great and the cake was delicious. We decided on four half sheet cakes, each with a different flavor because all of the cakes we tried at our tasting were so good. We also did a small two tiered cake for pictures and cutting. We received many compliments on how good the cake was and our guests enjoyed having the variety of flavors to choose from.

There are a lot of decisions to be made when getting married, picking out the perfect cake was made simple when working with the Exchange. Everything was easy and that's exactly what I wanted when deciding on a cake, an easy decision. The books they have are a little outdated, but I brought in a few photos of cakes I liked and they were able to create any of them for us. I also didn't need to tell them which one i wanted to go with until closer to my date, which was another really nice benefit. We were extremely happy with what our cake looked like and it was very delicious!

The Exchange was wonderful to work with. Their cake was delicious and affordable. We got a free sample when we stopped by to chat with them and then I sent photos of inspiration for the cake design. The cake was perfect. I am a pretty laid back planner and let him take my ideas and design himself and I couldn't have asked for anything better. A great cake choice for the north shore!

We ordered a 3-tiered cake for our wedding plus brownies. The Exchange did a beautiful job on our cake and it turned out exactly as we had discussed -even with the custom designs we had requested for each tiered layer.
Both the cake and the brownies (especially) were out of this world. Let's just say they didn't last long the night of the wedding.

The Exchange was very professional to work. They arrived on time on the day of the wedding and delivered everything as specified. In addition, they were reasonably priced, especially in comparison to other bakers in town that we had consulted with.

We had the red velvet with cream cheese frosting, in a two tiered round and then sheet cakes for the majority of the serving. Mark and The Exchange staff did a great job. Everybody loved the cake. When the original design that we wanted wouldn't work due to the frosting choice, they called us right away and we found a great way to find solution. Definitely recommend The Exchange for cake.

The Exchange was hands-down the easiest, most responsive, and highest quality vendor that we worked with for our wedding in Duluth. The cakes were EXACTLY what we'd asked for with just one quick consultation and one check up the week prior. We tried every cake in town before picking the Exchange -- their prices were better, and the quality of their ingredients was higher! Other places were fancier in terms of decorations, but what we cared about was taste, and on that front, nobody else came close.

This cake was a-mazing!! It was decorated more beautiful than i could have imagined & fit in perfectly with the wedding theme. Plus it was delicious!

The cake was ordered 2 weeks prior to our event and they did a wonderful job and had it ready the day before so we could have it at the reception hall during rehersal. It looked beautiful and would use them again for other events!
