Since I'm a little bit of a cynic, I've always taken what I read in reviews with a grain of salt. However, with Sherry and her team, I can honestly say that she is truly as wonderful as all the reviews claim. She's a real talent and a consummate professional. Sherry did my make up and hair for both my engagement photos and our wedding. Although she is located in Orange County and I am in Los Angeles, she was always on time and actually came ready with ideas of different looks based on the conversations we had beforehand. Sherry was able to make me look gorgeous, while still looking like myself. She's a real sweetheart and a pleasure to work with. When the big day arrives and nothing else can be done, the most comforting thought to a bride is that she has placed her special day into the hands of true professionals. Sherry is the professional you can trust.

I was so very impressed with Sherry. She is such a pro at what she does! Sherry knew that I was going to take bodoir photos for my husband, so she suggested that I plan my preview appointment with her the same day as my bodoiur session, so I could have gorgeous hair and make-up for the photos!
My hair and make-up turned out amazing, both for the bodouir pics and my wedding day. Sherry was pleasant to work with. She took her time and made sure that I was completely happy with the look she created for me. I would recommend her to any bride!

I can't say enough about Sherry McAnelly. She is the sweetest, most talented woman ever! She had me looking gorgeous by the time she left and although I did go over my budget for hair and make-up, she was well worth it. The curl in my hair did start falling out before the ceremony but we had our pre-ceremony pictures taken my the marina and it was somewhat breezy and humid so it's not something I would blame on her but just as an fyi to future brides...make sure you have a curling iron with you ALL DAY. I would have given anything to get my hands on one before the ceremony began. My hair was pretty trashed looking for most of the day. But the make-up stayed perfect...well into the late night without even getting shinny...and I have super oily skin too. I was amazed! My bridesmaids all looked great and they loved their "long" eyelashes. Most of them had never even worn fake eyelashes so that was a treat for them. Their make-up also looked great, all except for my Mom who some reason came out with a totally white face and super dark eyes and lipstick. It was not complementary at all but I'm not sure which of Sherry's assistants worked on her so I can't really comment too much, but otherwise we all looked great.

Sherry McAnelly and her team did a phenomenal job on all of us! Sherry has a wonderful calming and pleasant aura and is supremely skilled with both her makeup brushes and hairbrushes. I loved my natural makeup. It survived my sweating and crying and looked remarkably good even at 1 a.m. I also loved my "Transformer" hair! Sherry used a thread to weave my hair up for the ceremony and gave my maid of honor detailed instructions on how to cut the thread so as to let my hair down for the reception. It was so cool to have hair that was more than meets the eye! Sherry's team, which included Mandi, Marilyn, Brigette, and Lindsay, did a beautiful job on the entire bridal party. All of my bridesmaids and readers were very pleased with the results. Mandi Bevando was especially good with curly hair, and my bridesmaids were particularly delighted with Marilyn Ghigliotti (yes, the woman who played Veronica in the movie Clerks), who did amazing makeup on my fair-skinned red-headed bridesmaid, slightly olive-complexioned blonde reader, Latina bridesmaid, and African-American maid of honor -- versatility at its finest! We all couldn't stop looking at ourselves in the mirror! Every single hair/makeup artist was on time or early, and we were all finished well before our self-imposed deadline. On Location Beauty was excellent! Book them!
