My hair and makeup were exactly what I wanted ... timeless, elegant, and natural. Everything stayed in place all day without touch-ups. Salon Maison truly understands how to create bridal looks that last and photograph beautifully. Katie my stylist was amazing!

I only gave a 4 for Quality of Service because I wasn't super impressed with the makeup application. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with my hair so I spent some time with Akiko a week before the wedding day. She was so patient and gave me some great ideas. I decided to go for soft curls, half pinned up and it worked great! Toni & Guy was the most reasonable priced salon in the Newport Beach area and large enough to handle an entire wedding party at one time. Their pricing was at least 25% less than other salons in the area without compromising on professionalism.

Because our wedding was in a remote location (Badger, CA), I chose not to hire hair and makeup and I wanted something I could do in Orange County that would last up until after the wedding. I decided to get lash extensions and gel nails and Akiko of Raffine was recommended to me by a friend. What I liked about Raffine: - clean, stark white interiors - consultation prior to the lash extension treatment where length, thickness, allergies, etc were discussed - private rooms for both lash extensions (bed, pillow under my head, a blanket and a pillow under my knees) and nail treatments (big cushy sofa, a pillow under my wrist while I got my nails done) - beverage service - quick yet quality work on both lashes and nails - lush, dramatic yet realistic lashes (some people thought I was using Latisse) and strong yet pretty, glittery calgel nails (which lasted all the way till early October) - great customer service from when I step into to the spa until I left

I had a small destination wedding in Southern California and the make-up artist I had previously used was no longer in business however, she recommended Lettie to me. Lettie was professional, warm, sincere and gave suggestions to heighten the look I was going for. She was absolutely amazing and by the end of our session I felt like she was part of the wedding party. You will no doubt love Lettie!

I have been going to Sima for haircuts for years now. I live out of the area, so I don't get to her often, but it's not often you find a hairstylist you can totally trust, so it's worth the wait. Sima listens to what you want and is able to deliver it. She is kind and personable and remembers you every time! Sima also recently did my hair for my wedding, and Jamie did my makeup. I cannot rave about the experience enough. I have been in too many weddings where the bride was panicked while getting her hair and/or makeup done, thinking it looked awful, and not knowing where the stylist was going or how it was going to come out like they imagined. I NEVER ONCE had a moment like this with either Sima or Jamie. My hair and makeup looked EXACTLY as I hoped for my wedding day, and they got both there on the first go, leaving me completely stress-free and absolutely elated. I would trust them with my life!

Audrey is phenomenal. Weddings are her specialty and it shows in her work. I searched through her photos and what I loved most was that she was consistent. After speaking with her, I knew that my hair was going to be in the best hands (literally!). She did my hair alongside my mother-in-laws and all of my bridesmaids. She is so quick and each one of my bridesmaid’s hair looked GORGEOUS. What’s most important is that my bridesmaids and I felt beautiful and confident. Audrey can do ANYTHING- just show her a picture and she will make it happen. She is so warm and understanding, and will do whatever it takes to make sure you feel and look your best. Audrey, I cannot thank you enough for everything!

Parie did my makeup and hair for my brothers wedding and she did the most spectacular job, even the bride and bridesmaids said they should of had her do their makeup. She was so friendly and really listened to me when I explained how I wanted to look for that evening. I highly recommend her for all you makeup and hair needs for any special occasion.

We had such a great experience using KG Hair and Makeup for our wedding. They make it SO easy - you just tell them how many people needing services and your timeline, and they figure out the rest. We just paid a flat fee per service, instead of by hair/makeup artist, which made the process so much more simple. Everyone's hair and makeup turned out so beautiful! We would recommend KG Hair and Makeup to anyone we know :)

Denise was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her highly to anyone. I am Asian, and I had the most difficult time finding a hair and makeup artist with the skill and knowledge to work with my thick, straight hair and my Asian facial features. On the consult visit, I knew that she was different from the other hair and makeup artists I consulted with. She carefully tailored my hairstyle and makeup to perfectly accentuate my natural features, and I looked absolutely gorgeous. On the wedding day, she was focused, attentive, and transformed me into the beautiful bride that I never thought I could be. I got numerous compliments on how beautiful I looked that evening. She is on the pricier side, but she is well worth the cost. You only get to be a bride once (ideally), and investing in a talented hair and makeup artist is a MUST, especially if you are shelling out the a hefty chunk of change on your photographer/videographer. Our photos came out so amazing that it is going to be featured in the upcoming Ceremony magazine.
