When I first went in for my trial, it was only going to be me getting makeup and hair. Fast forward to the week of my wedding, all my bridesmaids decided to get makeup and hair from Elizabeth. She was able to bring a team with her to make sure, that all my girls and I looked perfect for my wedding.

I booked all my vendors a year early. It was a long time and had a lot of questions throughout my journey. Elizabeth was always available and she was so gracious with the way she asked my questions. When I came into my trial, I had a vague idea on how I wanted my hair and makeup done. Elizabeth gave me some tips and gave me the perfect look. My wedding went on flawlessly and I would highly recommend Elizabeth if you are looking for a Hair and Makeup artist for your wedding.

Elizabeth is incredibly kind and the pre-trial was fantastic. Her rates are reasonable, and we initially felt very confident in her abilities. However, the experience on the wedding day was quite different and, unfortunately disappointing.
Elizabeth brought a second hair/make-up artist (IG: glambygraisyn) to help with the hair and makeup on the day of for the rest of the wedding party. Graisyn’s work was poor, leading to significant issues. My sister had to hire a separate hair and makeup artist to redo the hair for our mother, flower girl, and maid of honor as they were frizzy and the updos were falling out before we left to the church. The eye makeup on my sister-in-law was poor to the point where she asked Graisyn to remove it and my sister-in-law redid it herself.
Elizabeth was aware of the situation as it unfolded and informed us, on the side, that the team member she planned to bring was unavailable and Graisyn was a last-minute addition. While we empathized with the situation, it felt disingenuous when we later saw her working with Graisyn again in her Instagram stories.
I felt like I didn’t have a bridezilla moment until I sat there and watched my moms hair fall out of the bun. I told Graisyn I cannot have my mom walking down the isle with her hair already falling out before we walk down the isle.

Elizabeth is a kind person and did a great job during the pre-trial, but the experience on the wedding day was stressful and disappointing. This isn’t a situation you want on such an important day. Its better to pay a little more with a well-seasoned team to ensure everything goes smoothly.
