For our gift registry, my fiancé (now husband) and I decided to go through GiftRegistry360 because we had already been living on our own for awhile and had been living together for awhile so we didn’t need the traditional wedding gifts. With Registry 360, we were able to choose more unique items from a variety of shops for our guests to chose from. In theory, it seemed great. However, many guests had a hard time figuring out the website. They had problems getting to the shops and removing bought items from the registry. The site was slow and we even had a hard time registering items to the site. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t use this site.
While we were so excited to complete our guest registry online and inform guests easily through our TheKnot website with a simple link to giftregistry360, we discovered some complications once items were purchases as guests were unable to remove the items so that others would know we received the gift. Fortunately guests sent gifts early so we were able to personally edit the website by removing gifts as they arrived and fortunately didn't receive duplicates though it could have been quite complicated..... Perhaps the website may add features where by guests could edit as items are purchased. Otherwise we found that adding items was quite easy. The only other feedback we'd share is that department stores are somewhat less flexible to return items b/c the registry wasn't directly through their store; though in the end we were able to explain and obtain some flexibility. Overall a huge thanks for the electronic capability! :)
