My husband and I were recently married at Studio52 in DC. The venue is perfect for a small wedding. Chelsea and Drew are wonderful to work with, and were flexible with our need to drop some items off ahead of the wedding. The onsite event coordinator, Eric, who worked our wedding day was wonderful too. They also have a built in photo booth that guests can use, and a garage door at the front of the venue that can be opened in nice weather. We absolutely loved having our wedding here!

We were looking for a non-traditional venue for our wedding, and Union Stage was a perfect fit. Our goal was to create a unique and memorable wedding for not only ourselves but also for our guests, and the event staff at Union Stage worked seamlessly with our vendors to make that happen. Unlike a lot of other venues, Union Stage provided us with a day-of wedding coordinator (Natalie) who worked with us during the months prior to the wedding to create a detailed timeline and brought up issues we hadn't really thought of. Since my husband and I had no event experience, this was essential in making our wedding a success. On the day of the wedding, Natalie and the rest of the event staff set up the space exactly how we had discussed, and kept the event running in accordance with the timeline. More importantly, the event staff at Union Stage worked hard to understand our vision and then made it happen. Even my most hard to please family members have done nothing but rave about the venue and the event itself, and I am so grateful we selected Union Stage for our wedding.

Very very good cake. It was one of the best cake I ever eat although the look of the cake wasn't the most beautiful I ever saw. I wanted the cake to be all in white but the leafs was green. Nevertheless, it tasted really good and the cost was one third of other pasteries. They where flexible and found solution to fit our budget. Tip: order a much smaller cake then you need because event if it isn't expensive, the portion are huge.

My husband and I got married here in April and had the best experience working with Al and the Mess Hall staff. He let us customize our event, allowing for food trucks, drinking. games, and a live tattoo artist! Working with him was nothing short of amazing, and we were able to celebrate and relax with our guests on the big day because everything was taken care of on Mess Hall's end. If you're looking for a non-traditional wedding space with food as one of your main focuses, look no further than Mess Hall!

I had my wedding welcome party at the Capital Turnaround. From the get-go, the venue had a list of vendors that it regularly works with, so we didn’t have to do much on that front. They were also very flexible with drop-off/set up and pickup. The venue itself is very spacious - had about 110 guests and there was so much space to move around, and we didn't even use up all the space. Once it was time to end the event, we were able to make an announcement and instruct everyone to leave rather than abruptly asking everyone to leave the minute the event ended. The on-site team worked with us leading up to the event and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The space also comes with several couches, tables, and other lounge furniture. Our guests loved the space and the modern feel. Capital Turnaround is a great place for any event and I highly recommend having any part of your wedding weekend here!

The CPMI Event Center in Ames was such an incredible value for such a classy venue! We were able to reserve the center for the WHOLE weekend! Awesome for setting up all day Friday, wedding Saturday, and Sunday to tear down. All of the tables and chairs were included too! And the table and chairs are nice, no crummy metal folding chairs! Overall we had a wonderful wedding in this venue! As a matter of fact, a guest of ours who was recently engaged decided to book the space for her wedding after seeing our wedding there!
