Studio 52 is a wedding reception and modern event space located in Washington, D.C. Custom designed by owners Drew and Chelsea, this stunning event space was intended to bring a warm and intimate feel. The 20-foot ceilings offer an open and inviting space, while the reclaimed wood walls offer a cozy, character-filled atmosphere. Facilities and Capacity

The perfect setting for intimate wedding receptions and other events, this venue’s main event space is versatile. The reclaimed wood walls create a stunning warm atmosphere, while the 1920 window frames bring the space endless character and charm. Not to mention, the window frames found within Studio 52 come with adaptable LED light along with our Sound Reactive Light Installation have the ability to be changed to the color of your event. Bring your wedding reception vision to life with the charm and flexibility of Studio 52.

We are perfect for wedding ceremonies 50 guests or less, wedding receptions up to 75, and cocktail style wedding receptions up to 200 guests.

we loved our venue!

My husband and I were recently married at Studio52 in DC. The venue is perfect for a small wedding. Chelsea and Drew are wonderful to work with, and were flexible with our need to drop some items off ahead of the wedding. The onsite event coordinator, Eric, who worked our wedding day was wonderful too. They also have a built in photo booth that guests can use, and a garage door at the front of the venue that can be opened in nice weather. We absolutely loved having our wedding here!

Perfect wedding venue with personalized care!

We could not have found a more perfect venue for our wedding of about 90 people. The space is flexible for almost any type event. The staff was professional but friendly and caring and made the night magical. The reclaimed wood walls provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, and the two levels allowed for dancing on the upper level and eating and visiting on the lower. A special needs guest got extra care and attention by Raman, the event manager. The flexibility of the staff and owners to make the event perfect and exactly what we wanted made the day everything we could have asked or wished for. Thank you, Studio 52!

Hidden Gem in Ivy City

This spot is adorable. You can do so much here. It is small but very intimate and fun!!! Chelsea and Drew, the owners, are super nice and so, so flexible. Eric is one of the managers. He was the manager I met with on my first visit to the site and he was the manager on duty for my event. He is great and has the best personality. Studio 52 is a blank slate and what you can do to it is up to your imagination. I love this spot and I hope to be back for one of the other events that they hold from time to time for the public or maybe I will get to be a guest at someone else's event there. If you need at unique, trendy spot in a hip part of the city for a small, intimate gathering then Studio 52 is your spot.

We absolutely loved Studio 52 as our wedding venue! We did both the ceremony and reception there - just under 100 guests - and the space worked perfectly. Chelsea and Drew are phenomenal to work with: very quick to respond, flexible, friendly, and creative people with an adventurous willingness to try new things in their venue! Couldn't be happier. 10/10!

My husband and I held our elopement party/casual wedding reception here and we could not have been happier. The owners, Drew and Chelsea, went out of their way to deliver stellar customer service and were incredibly flexible and responsive to us. They allowed us to get food truck catering (and helped secure parking) and bartending services where we could purchase our own alcohol, which saved us a ton of money. Plus the space is just beautiful - it has an open, industrial feel with a wall made from 100+ year-old reclaimed farmhouse wood. There is a digital photo booth built in that our guests adored and a garage door that can open up, creating a very cool vibe.

The team at Studio52 is extremely responsive. They jump in and help when you need it, they offer advice, and are extremely supportive. We would definitely recommend using them again!

Fall wedding at Studio 52

My husband and I had a great experience hosting our wedding at Studio 52. The size and style of the venue was the perfect fit for us. Chelsea and her team were great to work with, very flexible and accommodating. We did our ceremony and reception seating in the upper area, and our bar, buffet and dancing on the lower level, which worked really well (80 guests.) Reggie was our on-site manager the day of and he did a great job making sure everything went smoothly. We loved the photobooth, reclaimed wood wall, and the industrial garage door. And it was very easy at this location to have a food truck as our caterer; Studio 52 has blocked off parking directly in front of the venue. All in all, a great experience and I highly recommend this venue!
