We absolutely loved having our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Old Farm Winery! It's quite a large space with three distinct areas and we had the entire place to ourselves. The bride and grooms suites were so cute and the perfect backdrop for private photos. The property has endless photo opportunities with the different barns, vineyard, trees, and red truck! The wine was delicious as well! We had such a fun time at our tasting with Scott in the tasting room. We plan to go back to the tasting room for our one year wedding anniversary! The staff, particularly Sarah and Laura, were so great to work with! They made things fun and easy, which took the stress off of us. This truly is a special venue offering so much character! The staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect!

The coordinators also provided so much help the moment our 60 day planning kicked in. On wedding day my coordinators were organized, calm, extremely kind and guided us through every detail so we could enjoy the day to the absolute fullest.

For over 20 years my 80-something mom and step-dad have hosted a pre-Thanksgiving gathering for 40 plus friends and family at their beautiful Northern Neck farmhouse. In 2023 they finally called it quits given the enormous energy and commitment required. If we wanted to continue this tradition in 2024 we were going to have to find a new and special place. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Old Farm Winery at Hartland. It provided beautiful countryside views, plenty of outdoor space for teenage boys to play football, or younger kids to play hide-and-seek, as well as a gorgeous events space and I haven’t even mentioned the great wine! To help us make this feel like old times, the winery allowed us to decorate the space beforehand and provided all the tables, linens, chairs and coolers we needed. The coordinator Sarah and the management team at OFW were at our disposal throughout the event providing ice, shuttling coolers, working logistics and helping or handling every logistical hurdle we faced. Our Thanksgiving gathering went off without a hitch and created a beautiful lasting memory. It looks like we’ve found our Thanksgiving gathering place for the next 20 years! Thanks Sarah and OFW!

This venue is perfect for any style of wedding. The staff were professional responsive and helpful from day 1. They have thought of everything and were our greatest asset in planning our special day. The price was very reasonable, and the facilities were superb. The venue was beautiful and decorations were set up with meticulous care. The staff even solved a wardrobe malfuntion moments before the ceremony.

OFW provides a Day-of-Coordinator, who you'll begin working with ~60 days out from the big day. We were paired with Jamie, and can't recommend her enough! Jamie, Scott, and the team were responsive, friendly, patient, and helpful. It ended up raining during our ceremony, but the team was completely prepared to pivot our plans and make it a beautiful day nonetheless. The venue itself is lovely, with lots of space in the adjacent manor building for the wedding party to get ready. The only downside was gaining access at 2pm (which was a bit stressful for photos), but otherwise it was perfect. The property is well taken care of, and the Pavilion is breathtaking. We absolutely recommend booking with OFW!

Old Farm Winery is a beautiful venue with a dedicated and caring staff! They helped make our wedding day amazing with seamless day of coordination. The day of coordinators were super flexible and worked with our schedule when it came to decor drop off. They perfectly decorated the space according to our vision and made the take-down process smooth and simple. The staff helped make our day perfect at this gorgeous, rustic venue!

My husband and I were really looking forward to writing a glowing review of the winery after our wedding and reception. The winery itself is a beautiful venue for an event, to be sure. Sadaf was the sweetest, most professional young woman. I fell in love with her bight personality and the venue because of it, thinking I would receive that type of service throughout the whole process.
But sadly, the kind, professional service did not happen. Instead, we were passed to the events team, who stated they were professional and could execute our dream wedding just as we imagined. I spent 5 hours putting together a document for Old Farm Winery and their “professional” events team, only to get to my wedding day, and reception only to see the dessert table missing desserts, decorations for the tables missing, along with the all important place cards for the seating arrangements not on the tables, which we spent hours more working on, planning, putting together each table in little baggies to make the execution so simple and easy for Laura (our day-of-coordinator and her team). When i asked Laura where the decorations were, she stated “I couldn’t find them with the other decorations”. She had 3 hours to put out decorations, during which she never asked any of my friends or family for help. I asked my bridesmaids to look during the reception and within 5 minutes they found the “missing” decorations with all the rest of the boxes. This was just one of the major oversights by Old Farm Winery and their team.
Laura was rude to myself, the groom, my father-in-law, guests, and family. She made my sister cry for being stuck in traffic with the arch we were getting married under. We offered plenty of help to them by our guests who helped design the tables and make decorations and we were met with “we are professionals we got this.” My father-in-law and other guests were refused drinks during the cocktail hour. Staff then lied saying my husband’s family member received the leftover wine after the wedding (which is in our contract to receive) and finished off the sangria which he didn’t as he doesn’t drink wine and confirmed he did not receive the left over bottles. From the time my husband showed up with our dog (who we had permission in our contract to be a part of the wedding) Laura yelled from half way down the sidewalk that our dog was not allowed on the premises. Even their own company Facebook page as of 10/4/24 says dogs are allowed on the property. The people who ran our event were incompetent and when we called Sarah to file complaints we were offered 5% ($295), lawyer involvement, and with no apology from Laura for her conduct. When we told them this is a slap in the face and we wouldn’t accept less than 25% for all the time, money and emotional trauma, they said all they could do was 10% as hush money with papers to sign stating we wouldn’t write a review. Well, we did not accept their hush money offer and are very disappointed that this is how they respond in light of disastrous customer service from their own staff. They stated “we fulfilled our contract to you.” The bare minimum and ruined our wedding day so bad that we called our get away car to come get us an hour early because we were so fed up with the service. I don’t want this to happen to any other bride and groom, or any event considering Old Farm Winery and their event staff to execute their event. Please consider this as a warning so you don’t get the same treatment.
