I just got married last Saturday and had the pleasure of working with Joyce, from Cakes of Joy. She made me the most beautiful wedding cake! She used her imagination and surprised me, it matched everything in my wedding. We had a lot of fabric draping and hanging and she used that idea to make beautiful swooping draping on the cake, it looked just like the decorations! Our bouquets were roses, light pink, peach and white, the flowers she made on the cake looked like the ones we carried that day, except you could eat them!!!! : ) I am extremely pleased with her work, not to mention, she took care of everything so I didn't need to worry bout a thing on my big day. I wish all my wedding experiences were as great as my experience with cakes of joy!

We wanted to replicate a cake that we had seen pictures of and loved. We asked around in the area and chose Joyce. Her price was almost half of what the others quoted, and she was willing to deliever to our venue.

On the day of the wedding, the cake looked great, exactly what we wanted. More importantly it tasted great, and our guests really enjoyed it.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to work with her, or the end result.

The cake was make perfectly to our specifications and came out so beautifully! All of the details were done very well. The colors and were so vibrant! The cake tasted delicious and everyone at the reception loved it! Especially the dark chocolate ganache filling!! Working with Joyce was so easy and she has lots of personality! And at the last minute I wanted to surprise my groom with a grooms cake. And she came through beautifully and was so accommodating. Thank you!

Joyce was a joy to work with! If I ever had to refer anybody for a cake I would send them to her. My wedding cake was PERFECT and we got lots of compliments on how great it looked and tasted!! She went above and beyond and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. I recommend her services for anybody who needs a cake done for any type of special occasion! The cake was delicious and beautiful. Joyce was very responsive to all of my changes after our consultation and didn't bat an eye.

I thought the experience went well. The cake decorations looked amazing. The only disappointment was that we picked carrot cake but we received what seemed to be a spice cake. We noticed and our guests commented on the flavor too. They did not think it was carrot cake nor did we.

I received EXACTLY what I asked for. Everytime I emailed Joyce or called her I received and answer promptly. The cake was absoluetly amazing and delicious, everyone asked me where I had it made! Also there was a hurricane passing through my area, and with genuine concern, she called me and made arrangements to deliver the cake safely :) I would definately recommend hiring her as a bride to be. Some things you just don't want to have to worry about and she made it that much easier for me. As a matter of fact I am hiring her again to make a birthday cake for my sister who is turning 26 in November!!!

Joyce was amazing to work with! She had sent me a small cake to taste via ups and it was amazing! We had looked at other cake vendors and some were outrageous! We could not believe they wanted 2000 for a small cake! We got a 4 tier square cake! I had wanted a white choc. gnash and she MADE it for me! She Initially did not have it as a filling but went out of her way to please me and spent hours making one up! This is what I call exceptional service! WE had so many compliments on the cake! We had layers of the Mocha Cream and White Choc gnash! Absolutely wonderful! My mom said that not many people eat cake at weddings but at mine the WHOLE cake was gone in a matter of 10 min! It was so yummy!! And it looked amazing, I was blown away! Thanks so much!!!

Joyce at Cakes of Joy did an excellent job with our wedding cake, but not only did she make a great cake she took care of contacting my florist directly to get on the same page as her which relieved us of having to take care of even more planning. Thank you Joyce, we look forward to a yummy cake a year from now!

My cake was beautiful and everyone commented on how good it was. It was a very good experience and I would recommend Cakes of Joy to anyone who wants to enhance their wedding day.

Joyce was so nice and so easy to work with. She was very helpful to our situation with being out of the state. She is very good at communication and the cake was fantastic! I couldn't belive how perfect the cake was!

Joyce made an incredible 4 tier cake for my wedding. It had 4 different flavors in it. It was absolutely beautiful and the price could not be beat. Did I mention the taste? The place we had our reception had a desert bar and they cut the cake all up and put it out it was gone in 15 minutes! My mom had stash a peice for me and my groom so we could have a piece! Joyce was very pleasant every time I spoke with her in person and on the phone and was great about answering all my questions. her delivery fee was very fair and she was just a joy to work with!! She even called after we came back from our honeymoon to make sure we were satisfied and that our wedding went well. I Deffinatly knoiw where i will go for all my birthday cakes and anniversery cakes! and Joy if you read this Thank you again!!! you were wonderful!

Joyce was very flexible with us and made the cake we picked out. She helped us find ideas and really make the cake we wanted. It was also very affordable! She did an excellent job.

On a side note, the cake was absolutely delicious. Better than I could have asked for.

Cakes of Joy did a great job on our wedding cake. It looked exactly like we wanted it. It was a huge attraction at the reception. The price was great and they delivered it for us. we couldnt have made a better choice. I definately reccomend them to anyone and everyone for any occasion!
