Introducing the color everybody’s talking about: Marsala! We’ve been swooning over this deep burgundy-red ever since Pantone revealed it as the new “it” color last week. This sophisticated shade would make the perfect addition to a rich, romantic palette, a lovely complement to a jewel tone scheme, or even a nice accent to an organic, woodsy aesthetic. Check out our Marsala gallery for some great ways to infuse your wedding decor with what Pantone calls a “hearty yet stylish tone.”

A small state, often overshadowed by our neighbors to the north and South. It’s hard to get recognition, when your competing with the spot light with Manhattan and Philadelphia however, New Jersey is not a newcomer when it comes to rolling out the red carpet.

With the Academy Awards recently behind us, it offers a perfect segway for the feature Real Wedding in this post.

Real Wedding: Featuring Ariana’s Grand in “RED & PINK”

It seems like winter has never really hit the North East, which is great news for all our cold weather couples.

As stores start to prepare for spring, we figured we would do the same and feature a Spring Wedding, with vibrant pink and red colors which offer incredible transition and make for eye popping photos.

Wedding Inspiration: Valentines Hearts

Posted by bridalbuds on Mar 01, 2011

So obviously Valentine’s Day just passed, and I’m so happy to report that it was my last one as a single lady! Apple Sauce and I kept it low-key with a romantic meal at home and a bottle of prosecco; but don’t worry, we’ll pull out all the stops on the honeymoon 😉

Anyway, with all the adorable paper crafts and red hearts hanging in every shop window, I was really inspired to do a Valentine’s Day-themed inspiration board. There is just something so romantic and timeless about soft, red hearts. Hope you enjoy!

A Winter Wedding

For many studios in the north east, winter weddings are on the rise.

A winter wedding offers unique photo opportunities with a very different backdrop than fall, spring and summer, and for many couples it offers an opportunity to reserve a reception location which may not be available during the spring, summer and fall months, or just out of their budget.
