New Wedding Dresses: Romona Keveza

Jennifer Aniston’s engagement to Justin Theroux was this week’s big news in celebrity wedding world. We immediately started brainstorming about which wedding dress the fashionable star would wear on her big day (something modern, form-fitting, and sleek, most likely), and found that there were several gowns from Romona Keveza’s new collection that would certainly suit her. The four gowns pictured above were our favorites – the two white gowns are from Romona Keveza’s bridal couture collection, and the two colored gowns are part of her evening gown collection. And yes, we do think Jennifer might wear a hue other than white for her second wedding – and black and red are two of her favorite colors for her red carpet appearances.

Are you a fan of these gowns for Jennifer (or yourself)? Check out the rest of Romona Keveza’s wedding dresses here.

A few years ago, it was assumed that a wedding dress always had to be down-to-the-floor. Nowadays, one of the first questions you may hear at your gown shopping appointment is “long or short?” Many brides are choosing short dresses, either just for the reception or for the whole day. But of course, long gowns feel more formal for fancier affairs.

We loved that Theia’s new collection fabulous long and short wedding dress options – and even a pantsuit just for fun! Check out the rest of the new Theia wedding dresses and share your favorite design in the comments.

Before you start shopping for your wedding dress, you’ll need to think a bit about necklines and ultimately, pick your favorite. To help you in this endeavor, we’ve created a glossary of necklines so you can see all the options in one place. Our recommendation: Try on gowns with different necklines before nailing down your preferred style. You may think you love strapless, but after seeing yourself in a bateau, you could change your mind!

New Wedding Dresses: David’s Bridal

“Sparkle or no sparkle?” It’s one of the questions you’ll likely have to answer during your wedding dress shopping adventure. For some brides, the answer is easy (“Bring on the beading!” or “No sequins for me!”), while for others it’ll take a little more consideration. Fortunately, David’s Bridal offers both ends of the spectrum, exemplified by two of our favorite styles from their new collection. The romantic ballgown on the left features lace appliques, a corset bodice, and layers and layers of tulle, while the gown on the right is all-out glam and completely sequined top to bottom. Which style do you prefer for your wedding day? Let us know in the comments and view the rest of the new David’s Bridal wedding dresses here.
