Jenifer & Jonathan

April 30

Private Estate ~ Tennessee

From the Bride: Jonathan and I met a few years ago on Memorial Day Weekend 2008 through a mutual friend. We danced all night in the back of Jonathan’s truck and he asked me out, but I declined. Jonathan and I remained friends. Then, when the friends who introduced us, had their wedding in July 2009… we danced all night. He told his best friend “I’m gonna marry that girl.” Jonathan and I have a loving, fun relationship and wanted a wedding day that mirrored just that. We wanted our day to be about what it should be…the celebration of us joining our lives together; and we were lucky enough to get to share it with our family and closest friends. We wanted the ambiance to be a comfortable, inviting, yet charming setting, but wanted it not to overshadow what the day was really about. The entire affair was held at my parents home in Fairview, TN. We were a little reluctant at first, because we knew that it would be tough, but Angela Proffitt helped us work out all the logistics and it ended up working out perfectly. The setting was absolutely beautiful! Plus, it was really nice to get ready at “my home” and to be able to have our long haired Chihuahua, Axl Rose in the wedding. I wouldn’t change a thing, as the day was even more perfect than I could ever have imagined.

MacKenzie & Wil

September 25

Nashville, Tennessee

From the Bride: Wil & I met through a mutual friend. Wil had moved to Nashville from Arizona to be closer to his family, who unbeknownest to us had moved a few years before into the house across the street from the home I grew up in and my parents have lived in for over 30 years. He knew where they lived but none of us knew the neighbors. When I found out they lived right across from each other, I knew it was meant to be. We had the ceremony in the front yard at Cedarwood, beneath a large tree with beautiful birdcages with flowers hanging from it. That’s pretty southern! We wanted the day to be understated, shabby-chic and whimsical.
