Lauren and John were married at Crabtree’s Kittle House Restaurant and Inn in Chappaqua, N.Y. on January 17. “No matter where we decided to have it, we knew we wanted to keep it intimate with only immediate family and a couple of friends,” Lauren said. “We opted on close to home to avoid the hassle of traveling far and having to coordinate transportation for so many people. We wanted to choose a place where we knew we could create beautiful memories . . .  a few Google searches later, and we stumbled upon Crabtree’s Kittle House. Immediately upon seeing the photos, I knew this would be an option for us, and sort of knew deep down this might be the place.” The bride wore a strapless satin wedding gown with a ruched bodice, accessorized with a faux fur jacket and her hair down in loose curls, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a silver tie. Notice how sparkly her peep-toe platform pumps are? Following the unity candle lighting, it was official! Guests stood outside waiting patiently for the newlyweds to walk through the French doors, so they could blow bubbles. “For such a small affair such as ours, we knew the Wine Cellar Room would be perfect for dinner!” she said. “It is notorious for delicious food, which was another important factor for us as we both appreciate a good meal.” Tables were decorated with white linens, red rose centerpieces, mason jars, and a yummy fresh fruit cake. Their best advice? “Stay calm. The important thing is the marriage, which is the rest of your life, 20,000+ ‘big days’ that you have to spend with your partner and the people you love,” Lauren said.
