Who wants to see some bridal portraits?
I’m actually extremely proud of how they turned out. They are GORGEOUS and were A LOT of fun to do!
My fan bouquet! The photographer called it a “fan-quet,” which I thought was funny and a little clever. This one is one of my favorites, actually.
My poor wife gets dragged along every time I want to experiment with a new lighting technique in the studio or try out some new piece of equipment. Yesterday it was easier than usual to convince her because I was going to be photographing her in her wedding dress. In addition to shooting some nice studio portraits, I shot some cinemagraphs, which are simple animations like you see here with the blowing wedding dress.
If you’re doing bridal portraits, make sure they reflect your personality. Include props and a great location that mean something to you. When you look back on them in 20 years you want yourself and others to see them as a reflection of who you are – not just posed pictures next to a drop screen. Ryan Price Photography captured K’Rina and Kelsie’s so well in both of their sessions, that in only a few photos you’ll feel like you know them. Take a look:

Don’t underestimate the importance of your bridal portraits. Photographer Natasja Vega demonstrates how beautifully unique these shots can be of you in your dress. Be creative with it, too, because this is how you will showcase yourself as you were on the big day!

Once I had the dress on, it was time to go outside and shoot some bridal portraits. Plumeria Dude and I decided to do all of our photographs before the ceremony so that we could spend more time with our guests during the reception. Neither of us are particularly superstitious, and it was really nice to hang out with him. I still had butterflies before the ceremony itself!
