Creating Your Own Bridesmaid Survival Kit

Posted by dostomel on Jan 14, 2013

A bridesmaid survival kit can come in handy during a wedding, and it’s a lovely gift for the bride to get her gals. The one offered by Ms. and Mrs. offers the perfect kit for those unexpected moments, but we see this as an opportunity for some DIY fun! Here’s what you’ll need to create your own Bridesmaid Survival Kit for the bridesmaid at your wedding.

What to get:

Start off with the essentials. Your kit should be handy in case there’s an emergency during the wedding. Some of the things you might need are: mini nail files, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, lint roller, mini hairspray, mini sun block (for outdoor weddings), compact mirror, wisp travel toothbrush, mini lotions, mints, teasing comb, Q tips, band aids, tampons/pantiliners, safety pins, sewing kit, hair pins, tylenol, some snacks and a water bottle. All these things can save the day in any situation!

Bring It All Together:

Once you have all the items that you need, put them all in a cute box or mini bag. Decorate the bag/box with a ribbon and place a label on it that says “Bridesmaid Survival Kit”. Give each of your bridesmaid a kit just in case the unexpected happens. Who knows, maybe it’ll come in handy for you too!
