Last week’s WeddingWire Los Angeles Social brought engaged couples, family, and friends throughout the LA area together for an evening of wedding Q&A. The Terrazza Garden at Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica set the stage for this intimate affair that was bursting with big day excitement. Guests mingled and shared ideas with each other, while toasting to their upcoming nuptials. The true highlight of the event was the panel of wedding professionals, who fielded questions from the audience and shared incredible advice and brilliant insight. Thank you to our superstar panelists for wowing guests with their passion: Christina, of The Events Boutique; Adam, of Adam Kent Photography; Mary Jean, of A Ceremony of the Heart; and Nate, of Nateboogee Entertainment. This fun-filled and informative evening was perfectly captured on camera by Aevitas Weddings.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and to our amazing partners! If you’d like to find out about future events, you can reach out to WeddingWire Community Manager Jamieat firstname.lastname@example.org. We can’t wait until the next one! Click below for more photos from this amazing event!
The bridal fashion elite were in full force at the WeddingWire “To Market, To Market” party kicking off New York Bridal Market! Held at the Wayfarer, fashion insiders were treated to a variety of pre-market goodies including makeovers by GLAMSQUAD, personalized calligraphed notebooks by Eliza Gwendalyn, a GIF-booth from Smilebooth, and much more! Monte Durham, star of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, was on hand for selfies, as were fabulous designers like Olia Zavozina, and the team from Jean-Ralph Thurin. It was the perfect way to get pampered and celebrate before the hectic (but always amazing!) New York Bridal Market!

Whether you’ve just begun planning your wedding, are looking for last-minute ideas before you head down the aisle, or simply stopped by for a bit of browsing, these real weddings are sure to put a smile on your face. Here’s what caught our eye this past week:
Country Chic Pennsylvania Wedding–Ashley and Stefan were married at Horizon View Farm in Rockwood, Pa. on August 22.The venue’s surroundings offered up some unbeatable scenery – their ceremony took place in a clearing in the woods, among a magical backdrop of tall trees.
Vintage Florida Ranch Wedding– Katelyn and Tyler were married at Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, Fla. on April 4. This wedding combines three different styles – preppy, vintage and rustic – into one beautiful affair. Don’t miss their monogrammed corn hole board!
New York Country Club Wedding– Yukari and Tim were married at Highlands Country Club in Garrison, N.Y. on May 2. “We wanted a touch of trendy with mostly a classic look,” Yukari said. And don’t forget the donkeys! The bride posed with two of the furry creatures at the farm where she and Tim had their first look.
Classic Pink Wedding in Alabama – Ashly and Ken were married at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church followed by a reception at The Harbert Center in Birmingham, Ala. on October 18. They dated for eight years before Ken proposed on Christmas Day. Their glam-chic wedding had it all: a fabulous dress, a hint of sparkle and, most importantly, two newlyweds who couldn’t stop smiling!
Bohemian Ohio Farmstead Wedding– Liza & Cory were married at The Conrad Botzum Farmstead in Akron, Ohio on October 3. Midway through the ceremony, rain forced them and their guests to move indoors, but that didn’t stop the groom from surprising his bride with a musical performance during their vows. P.S.: We can’t get over the bride’s amazing wedding gown!
Even though traditions such as walking down the aisle to “Canon in D” haven’t changed over the last century–wedding dresses have! Which iconic look inspires YOU in Mode’s 3-minute video? (Secretly, we still adore the ’50s fashion. How could we forget when Audrey Hepburn married Mel Ferrer in a tea-length Givenchy gown!) Be sure to follow WeddingWire on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat because our editors are at New York Bridal Market from Wednesday, October 7 through Monday, October 12 with exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the latest collections. Plus, they will post photos with the hashtag #WWxBFW!
The WeddingWire Social Atlanta was a fashion and beauty-themed treat for brides-to-be! The event was held at Neiman Marcus in the Lenox Mall, and was hosted by local bride Mone’t. Guests were welcomed with champagne, wine, and hors d’oeuvres, and enjoyed a fashion presentation featuring designer looks for pre-wedding parties—and some gorgeous lingerie, too! Afterwards, Tom Ford Beauty selected one guest to receive a total makeover and guests were able to ask the experts questions about makeup application and skin care. A lucky raffle winner received a pair of pearl earrings from Neiman Marcus, and all attendees received gift cards.
